One of the best things about living in Temecula, California is it's proximity to "America's Finest City", San Diego. Just an hour south, Temecula residents don't have to live with the marine layer which gives you more foggy than sunny days.
On Sunday September 19, we were invited by a family member to take a tour around the harbor. Now, I've seen almost every episode of Gilligan's Island, so I know disaster could be lurking around the bend.

Our journey into San Diego harbor launched from the Cabrillo Marina near Harbor Island. Our "skipper" assured us we wouldn't meet the same fate as the USS Minnow.
