Your Program Fees Include:

·   Tuition and fees for 6 hour of university credit

·   $200 non-refundable application fee

·   Accommodations

·   Transportation on all group excursions

·   Academic field trips to Bahir Dar, Gondah, Lalibela, Harrar, Axum & Shashimane (may be) historical, cultural and anthropologically-relevant sites in Addis Ababa and environ

·   Entry fees to scheduled excursions in Ethiopia

·   International health insurance and SOS


Textbooks and Syllabi

-Your textbooks titles will be available via TRACS by April 20

-Your class syllabi will be available by May 1


Passports

You must have a valid passport to leave and enter both Ethiopia and the US.

If you are applying for a passport for the first time, please begin the application process now. It may take 4-6 weeks to receive your passport.

You will need:

a certified copy of your birth certificate,

a driver’s license (or other form of identification with a photo),

two passport-sized photographs (available at Kinko’s, Walgreen’s, or one-hour photo-shops for around $12.50),

a completed application form and approximately $75.00.

If you have a passport, please check to insure that it is current and will not expire during your stay in Ethiopia.

International regulations require that the expiration date on your passport be at least 3 months after the return date on your airline ticket.

Those needing to renew expired passports should do so immediately.

If you lose your passport while in Ethiopia...

Report a lost or stolen valid passport immediately!

Laundry & Food

Laundry service are provided at the Ras hotel for a fee
Breakfast is provided by Ras Hotel between 7 and 10am (other hotels in other cities may not provide this service)
Other meals are not included, please budget for them.
