Spring is here!
Spring has arrived, and with it some opportunity to get outside and get some fresh air! I've got some great shots of Bella enjoying the outdoors. And BOY does she love to be outside! I hope you all are enjoying some warm weather! It got a bit chilly this week, but I'm hoping the warm weather comes back quickly!

One Year update!
Hello Everyone! To keep up with what is going on, I have a different site for you to go to:

Bella Is a year old now, and time is flying by. We are staying busy with playdates and just every day life! Bella is learning more words each day, and while they may not make sense to most other people, Kevin and I understand her just fine.

She can also sign:

She can wave Bye bye and Hi. When she sees a picture of a baby, she can identify it as "baby". She generalizes most dogs as "Lizzy" which is normal. She is at least identifying them as the same species!
She loves applesauce and yogurt. She only drinks milk from a bottle, and refuses it from a sippy. She is determined, strong willed, and demanding. She knows what she wants, and when she wants it, and we just can't seem to figure it out fast enough! She has strong lungs, and has hit octaves I don't think Mariah Carey has even touched! She has 9 teeth, one of which is still cutting, plus another close to coming in. She eats whatever we give her, and we no longer use any baby food or formula.
We are all doing well, and each day is a new adventure for us! I'm so glad to be able to share this all with you!
Getting SO BIG!
Bella has been growing so fast, and now that she is mobile, it is hard to find time to upload pictures for you all, let alone update the blog! I do try, so be sure to check it out, the link is on the right side of the page =)
How Bella has grown in the past couple months...
- She now has 5 teeth, and I think #6 is coming shortly!
- She babbles and talks, and we have "conversations"!
- She has learned to throw a tantrum, although small now, we are trying to avoid letting them get to the 'extreme' by just ignoring them and hoping that she will learn. So far, once she realizes we aren't going to give in, she stops and moves on quickly!
- Words she has said include: Lizzy, Uh-Oh, Mama, Dada, Hi, Nice, and Hello.
- She brushes her hair, mommy's hair, and daddy's hair!
- She is pulling up and cruising all over, and has even let go and stood on her own a few times! Won't be long now!
- When you ask "How big is Bella?" She raises her hands in the air for "SOOO BIG!"
- She has a great appetite, and loves pretty much everything we have fed her. Her favorite food is applesauce! We haven't come across anything she doesn't like, except for the commercial jarred food. It just doesn't compare to the good stuff I've been making her!
- She's made her first trip to the beach, the pumpkin patch, and we will be going trick or treating this weekend!
Kevin has switched his shift to days now, which we love! I's great that we are on a 'normal' schedule now! And it's even greater that he is home in the evenings and able to participate in the dinner/bath-time/bedtime rush! There are just sooo many good things about it, that whatever doubts we had at the beginning are forgotten.
The holidays are coming up, and some people have already asked what we (meaning Bella!) would like. To be honest, there isn't a thing we need, and having you all in our lives and being supportive of us is all that matters. We truly feel we have been blessed this past year - a beautiful, healthy girl, and a wonderful support system of friends and family. We truly couldn't be any more blessed. That being said, I know there are some of you who will not accept that answer (you know who you are!) So I will be working on a "wish list" online. It will include items that we would like but PLEASE do not feel obligated. It will be a mix of all three of us, and will just give you an idea. Obviously, most of it will be for Miss Bella!
