Starting off with a bang in the "refreshing" waters off San Diego at Camp Surf I with about half the Bengals (thanks guys for being flexible)...and heading back next weekend for Camp Surf II with the rest of the crew!
This year promises to be a great one and we're excited to have 3 new families joining our circle. They'll be great additions and I can already see the future of the Bengals will remain bright after the original core group graduates.
Manny and Kurt have already brought their own flavor to our meetings and we're all looking forward to the rest of the schedule!
While our turnout was smaller than usual, the Bengals made the biggest impression at Campland with a skit singing performance by Sydney that was called "the best skit in the history of BTS," "one of the best ever," and one that really drove home the point of what our program is all about.
Sadly we lose Sydney to graduation from the Princess program, but her influence, leadership, and character will go on in those that follow her. Words cannot express how proud of a dad I am to have seen her grow into such a strong young lady.
One word...
Arrrrrghhhh.
Ah, Joshua Tree...what a great album this is. From the opening riffs of "Where the Streets Have No Name" to the industrial strains of "Mothers of the Disappeared," a classic from the late 80's that still carries weight today....
Ooops...wrong Joshua Tree!
We officially welcomed Rob & Hannah and Matt & Lauren to the BTS family at this campout - rock climbing galore, a toga party, and who'll ever forget the owl poop full of mouse bones...
Another killer Bengal outing - more Bengals showed up than any other circle so thanks to you dads for making us strong.
Check out the photos of "SnowHenge" - winner of "Most Mysterious Ice Sculpture", a nice award for our property box.
We even came back with the same amount of girls so nobody went over the dam on a sled! Overall I think this was a great time for everyone and we're looking forward to the next one!
Tons of winners from the Bengals! Hope everyone who participated had a great day!
Get ready for Irvine Park (Bengals hosted event) and Winter Camp next month!
Enjoy the picture updates.
Pics updated for Rawhide Ranch and PJ Bowling. Lots of fun for all. If you missed Rawhide this time - start saving now!
Oh Yeah! Bengals win BEST BBQ for Benny's Bar-B-Que Bengal Sliders.
Thanks to Andrew for the smokin brisket and to Eric, Dan, and Kurt for helping get our service done. Top Chef got nothing on the Bengals!
Think we all had a great time and it looks like we've got a great group again this year!
Looking forward to Rawhide and PJ Bowling this month...see you there!
Wahoka!
A great time for all us Bengals in attendance!
Climbing wall, archery, BB gun marksmanship, a night hike and some carpet ball!
Thanks to Manny for some great pics - not bad 300+ photos from just 2 dads!
Looking forward to "A Taste of BTS" at Caspers.

Welcome to the Bengals website! Here you'll find photo albums from all the campouts and events with our Adventure Princesses Circle - The Bengals. The circle started in 2007 as a new group in the Big Thunder Spirit Expedition - and we plan on being one of the strongest circles for years to come.
Check back here often or sign up as a member to be notified when new photos are posted. All Bengal dads will be posting their photos here for sharing with the group and families, so enjoy!
We'll also have the calendar of events to keep track of upcoming BTS campouts and day events.
