So I decided to start a blog. I love shutterfly because you all can order whatever pictures you want but I wanted a blog to journal the funny things the kids are doing and how fast they are growing. So check out www.benziggles.blogspot.com

We had a mad house for about 4 days but it was AWESOME!!!! We had 4 adults, 4 kids under the age of 4, a cat and a dog in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house! OMG, it was so much fun. Morwenna and her 2 girls Maia & Aava and Jocelyn, aka Granny drove to Birmingham on Sunday and we finally got to see them Sunday night. Grayson and Jillian were already asleep but we got to hang out for a little while. The next day I had to go to work but we all met at the Goforth's house for some wonderful lasagna. They hung out there for a while. That night we rode around on Uncle Julian's tractor and trailor and the kids even got to drive the tractor. We even celebrated Graysons birthday that night with cake and he got 2 awesome presents, Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I was off work on Tuesday so we went and ate Pizza at Carpenetti's (Benny's 2nd favorite pizza place following Athens in Vermont). We then went to the McWane Science Center where the kids ran like crazy! After 3 floors of excitement we decided it was a smart idea to skip the 4th floor and go to Toys R Us with 4 tired kids, lol. We were looking for Bullseye to go with Woody and Jessie from Toys Story. I went to work on Wednesday and they had lunch at Milo's. That night we took some family pictures and went and ate at the Japanese Steakhouse Kinomi. The kids were a little scared of the fire but they had fun. Our final outing of the trip was to Dairy Queen to get ice cream. We piled a lot into a couple of days but it was a great visit and we are going to miss all of them so very much! We love you guys

We had the honor of traveling with the Goforth family to Seacrest Beach, FL this summer. It was so much fun and the beach and water was beautiful. Grayson loved the ocean and beach so much that the first day we were there we got very late and he decided to go to the beach and swim in his clothes. It was so cute. Jillian liked the pool more than anything else. She loves the water and did not like the sand at all. Benny got to go deep sea fishing with the guys and he fried his legs. They are finally getting back to normal. We had a great time and I can not thank the Goforth's enough for including us on their family trip.

We had a blast on July 4th. Jillian stayed up during all of the festivities and she just sat and watched the whole thing it was precious. Grayson looked forward to the fireworks all weekend and then they started and he was a little scared but then he started to like them so "Doggy" and Grayson sat in his new "Cars" chair and watched like a big boy.

 

Jillian now has 4 teeth and she is waking up all night long in pain. I am ready for the teething to give us a break, lol. Grayson is finally potty trained, YEAH!!!!! Now we have to work to get that Boppy out of his mouth. Any tips?? Julian just built a small boat motor that he is very proud of. He sold it to a friend of his. In return he is getting a commercial grade back pack blower. Just what we need more stuff. I am still staying busy with my photography and LOVING my new job. We will be celebrating Grayson's 3rd birthday in August and I can't wait.

Ok so a quick update on everyone...

 

Jillian is already sitting up on her own and she just loves her big brother. She still only has 2 teeth but I believe she is working on more. She talks (noises) all the time and she loves music. We really just adore this little girl.

 

Grayson is still trying to get a hold of going to the potty. Hopefully we will get it soon. He loves his new babysitter and now even thinks the world of Jillian. He tells her she is pretty all the time. He really is just a sweet little guy

 

Julian (Benny) is still just working and having fun playing with all of his junk which he brings more home weekly.

 

I am still loving my new job and taking pictures. My life is always crazy but I would not trade it for the world. The church has Vacation Bible School this week and I have been nuts but wow it is the most rewarding thing I have ever seen. I will probably put some pictures up on my photography website.

I remember Grayson got his teeth at 5 months but I am having a hard time believing that my baby girl has her 1st 2 teeth. Last night I felt in her mouth and she has 2 bottom teeth popping through. I can not believe how big she is getting. She is such a joy and I would not trade either one of my babies for anything. I will add pictures as soon as I can. I am about a month behind on my picture editing so I am working like crazy to get caught up so to say the least faily pictures get pushed way back. Wow it has been a very long time since I have put an update in here and A LOT has changed. Grayson and Julian are doing great but they do not have any really big news. Jillian on the other hand is growing up so fast. She is rolling over, playing with her toys, talking all the time, and laughing just as much. She is starting to eat solid foods but she does not like the veggies. I will be starting a new job on Monday. I will be working at the First Baptist Church in Trussville as an assistant to the pastors who handle the missions/pastoral care and senior adults. I am so excited!!! I have not updated in a very long time. I have been very busy but Jillian is growing like crazy! She cracks up laughing all the time and she always puts a very big smile on your face. She is sleeping through the night and just the sweetest little angel!

Well I thought I was turning in my lens on my photography until I took some pictures of a good friend of mine, Jennifer. She and her husband are welcoming a baby boy into this world in just a couple of months. I offered to take some maternity pictures for them and they turned out great. Hopefully one day I will be able to stay home with my babies and do photography full time. I have such a passion for it.

 

Anyways, a new update on everything else. Jillian went to the doctor on Wednesday and she is doing great. She weighs 12 pounds, 13 ounces and she is 24 inches long. She is our little chunker. Her little rolls on her thighs are the best. She is super healthy but we still have to watch her breathing to make sure she does not fall into the RSV mess again. Grayson is still a wonderful big brother. He loves to feed her and give her; her pacifier when she is crying. Sometimes he helps too much and I have to tell him that she does not nee that (whatever it is) right now. We are just really enjoying our family right now. They are all everything that I need right now.

Well a lot has happened in the past 2 weeks. I went back to work and I only had to work 4 days. Everything went very smooth and we were starting to get into a routine. Well on Wednesday Jillian started to get a little stuffy and I just thought ok first week of daycare she has a cold. So I just kept watching her. Well she started coughing so I thought I should take her to the doctor. So on Saturday we went to the doctor and she told us that she just had a common cold and to keep sucking out her nose with the bulb thing. She did tell us that infants can change very quickly so keep watching her. Well by Saturday night her cough had gotten worse and I was getting worried. On Sunday she was not eating and so I kept watching her. By Sunday night my Mom was at our house and she said we need to go to the ER. So we packed up and off we went to the ER at 9:00 PM. We arrived at Children's Hospital and they put us in a room immediatly because she looked so sick. The nurse came and saw us and checked her temp, oxygen levels and the sucked out her nose with this awesome machine. Her oxygen levels were good so she wasn't having trouble breathing besides her nose being stopped up. Since she had not eaten they checked her to see if she was dehydrated and she was so they wanted to admit us to the hospital. I had to leave the room when they did her IV because I just kept crying. We finally got to a room at 4:00 AM (my mom had to work the next day, yikes). Jillian already looked so much better. Benny came to the hospital the next morning and we both sat there with her while she rested. They did a couple of test and made sure she was eating and then they released us Monday night. In the meantime Grayson started to get sick. So the next day we took both Jillian and Grayson to their pediatrician, Dr. Lytle, and he confirmed that they both had RSV. So Benny and I have stayed home with the kids all last week. They can't go back to school until tomorrow, Monday. They are both so much better now. Dr. Lytle said that they will continue coughing for 2 -3 weeks so we are still not done with all of this but hopefully we will be soon. Please keep our little babies in your prayers because they could turn at any time. We just home to get everyone healthy as soon as we can.

 

P.S. As I am writing this Grayson is dancing around the kitchen with Elmo so I would say he is definitly feeling better.

Well my maternity leave is coming to an end. I go back to work on Tuesday, yikes. I have enjoyed being home but I am ready to have some adult time and be productive. Jillian will go to the same school that Grayson goes to and she will be taken care of so good but it is going to be hard for me to part with her. She is just such a little sweetheart. Well wish me luck on my first day of work. I have a feeling there will be some tears.

Wow is my baby girl really a month old? We went to the doctor today and Jillian had a rough time. She had to get a shot and blood taken and she is a bleeder so we got it everywhere. She weighed 11 pounds and she is 22 1/2 inches long.  She is becoming more and more alert. We are waiting on her first smile. Grayson loves his Baby Ji-Ji and he loves being a big help. Everything is just wonderful right now.

Well a couple days after Christmas Benny decided to shave Grayson's hair off. I about died. He does not even look like himself but I have gotten used to it. I did have to go buy him a new hat to cover that bald while we are having temps in the teens this week.

Wow, Christmas started off so exciting. It all started on Christmas Eve. I of course woke up extremely sick and I had to have my mother come over and help me with the kids. Well after my doctor called me in an antibiotic I was starting to feel better so later that night my Mom and I started cooking for Christmas lunch at my sister's. Well we finally got to bed around 12:00 AM. We got up the next morning and Grayson was very excited to open up presents. He was having the best time and helping Jillian open her presents and helping pass out other presents. Well we had put Jillian on a boppy pillow on the floor and she got unhappy so we picked her up but we left the pillow there. Well Grayson tripped over the pillow and did a face plant (hard) into the coffee table. We were just worried about his head so my mom picked him up very fast and I looked at him and there was blood everywhere. Oh my goodness I thought we were going to spend Christmas at the ER. Well after bleeding all day my wonderful husband told me it was just a small cut but it was going to bleed most of the day. I was terrified. Well to say the least I do not have many pictures of him opening presents. He did finish opening presents but he wanted to sit in my lap. He played the rest of the day with his cousins and Jillian. We ended up having a great low-key Christmas it was great considering the morning we had. I will post pictures soon

Well I have made a huge jump backwards with my photography. After many years of trying to build my business and get it to where I want it to be I have decided to slack off a little bit. I was really doing too much with working full time and doing photography and I was forgetting about my sweet husband and baby (babies now). I have closed my website and I now only have a blog. You can check it out at www.benzaiaphoto.blogspot.com I really feel like this is more appropriate since I will only be doing photography for fun and not just for money. Maybe one day I can focus on it again but for now I am going to keep it a hobby.

 

Quick family update...everyone is doing well. Jillian has some stomach (gas) problems and I am cutting out every type of food that taste halfway decent. Hopefully we will figure out what is causing the problem but no luck yet. Oh and Julian finished all of his ASE test and he is now master certified. He passed all 8 test. Congrats to him!

Well today is the first day that I have both of my babies by myself. It is actually easier than I thought it would be but it is definitly still tough. Well we went to have Jillian's newborn pictures taken and I wanted to take Grayson so that I could maybe take a couple pictures with him. But of course absolutly no bribing would work with that little boy. So as a result I have no pictures of the two of them together but I will try and take some myself. Jillian did not want to be bothered and she showed us her Diva side. She wanted nothing to do with it. I hope they turn out ok and I will post the site as soon as I get the information

Today was Jillian's 1st doctors appointment. Everything was great. The doctor told us we were free from jaundice and she is eating very well. After she was born she went down to 8 pounds 4 ounces and 6 days later she weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces. I was shocked but not really she is always eating. We are all doing great just trying to get into a schedule. Benny is going back to work tomorrow and Grayson will return to daycare. I will try to keep him at home some but not until I have recovered a little more.

Miss Jillian Marie was born on December 3rd at 1:08 AM. She weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces. She was 20 3/4 inches long. She has beautiful light brown almost blonde hair and she has beautiful plump lips (I am not sure where those came from). We have a very exciting story to tell with her birth.

 

We went into the hospital on December 2nd to start the inducing process. The first step usually takes a couple of hours to do its job and then they let you sleep and rest until the next morning when they start the pitosin drip (spelling???). Well Miss Jillian had other plans. They started the first step around 6:30 PM and everything was fine. I was having light contractions about 4-5 minutes apart but it was nothing to worry about yet. Well around 11:00 they got stronger and stronger so the nurses offered me some light pain medicine so that I would be more comfortable. The nurses kept telling me that I was not dilated enough yet. Well around 11:15 I just knew something was not right so I called the nurses again. Before they got in there I had already given a hard push and my water broke. Well the nurses told me I could not push until the doctor got there. So I had to sit there with a nurse holding baby Jillian in while I tried as hard as I could to not push, but I was still pushing some. The doctor finally got there and after just a few pushes Baby Jillian was here. I do not remember much after this because my body was just so worn out. Well to say the least I had no epidural and I did it all natural. I would have never thought I would be able to do that but I did. Benny was wonderful the whole time he just kept talking to me about going shopping for shoes. He really knows my weakness.

 

Well we are home now and everyone is doing great. Grayson is already a little protective of Jillian. He will not let Scout get anywhere near her. He is doing great with me and actually starting to act like a big boy. He has been with Nana for the past couple of days and I think he is so tired from playing hard with her.

 

Grayson got to play in the snow this morning. We woke up to snow on the ground and it is very cold. Benny, Jillian and I missed that fun but Grayson and Nana had a blast.

 

Anyways, we are very excited and blessed about our new baby. She really has made us a family.

Well we are about to head to the hospital to hopefully meet our beautiful baby girl Jillian. We are waiting on my mother to get here to keep Grayson. I am really going to miss that little boy over the next couple of days but we will see him hopefully soon after she is born. He has really started to realize that things are changing and he talks about Baby Ji-Ji (said Gi-Gi) all the time. It really is sweet. I will post pictures as soon as we are home. So I went to the doctor again today and he told me that Jillian is very very low but my cervix is still very thick. So he said it would definitly be before December 3rd but there is a very good chance I could go into labor before then. My cousins all think that she will come this Friday but I think they are just getting their hopes up since they will be in town. I told Dr. Robinett I just really want to eat all of the good Thanksgiving food. Once I get that I will be good to go. Well my last day of work is going to be tomorrow. I will be sending some time resting the next week.

 

On another note I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our family is so thankful for all of our family and friends. We are truly blessed!!!!!

I went to the doctor today for my 37 week doctor's appt. Everything was great! He thinks that she will make her appearance the first week in December. We will let everyone know as soon as we have any more information. As of right now I am still working but I am pushing through a lot of pain and being super tired but she and I are both very healthy and Grayson has been an angel!

Well Daddy put Grayson to bed last night and did an amazing job. I have not been able to get him to sleep in his big boy bed but Daddy had no problems. Grayson did great and I could not get him out of the bed this morning.  I was worried about him letting me put him to bed tonight but he did great. He did not cry at all and he went to sleep. My little baby is growing up so fast!

Tonight we went to a Trunk or Treat at the Baptist Church in Trussville. For those of you who do not know this is when a bunch of cars park and decorate their area and you trick or treat from car to car. At first Grayson only wanted the candy but he wanted to stay in my arms the whole time. But then he warmed up and went crazy. This was the wildest trunk or treat I have ever been to. They had free carnival rides and inflatables. And of course all of the candy you could ask for. We only lasted about an hour because Mommy and Jillian were wearing down fast. Now I feel like I have been hit by a bus but at least Grayson had fun. I will add pictures as soon as I can.

Well we decided this past weekend was going to be the big weekend. So we woke up and started hanging all of Grayson's pictures from his nursery into his big boy room. So his big boy room has everything that it needs now except My Big Boy. He does not want to sleep in his bed at all. Knowing this is a huge mistake I laid down in the bed with him and every night I have laid with him for anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours and then I end up taking him into his crib and he falls right to sleep. Well Grayson and I are both so tired so tonight I decided to go back to the old bed (even though it is all pink). Wish me luck and if you have any advice please post it because I am at a loss.

 

Quick update on me and Baby Jillian. Baby Jillian is doing great she is very healthy. She is still in the high position and thank goodness there is no progress towards delivery. It is just a little too soon for her to come into this world. But me on the other hand I am dying. I always said that I would really take the time and enjoy this pregnancy but I am finding it harder and harder. She is all out front and it is getting harder and harder to carry her. I went to the doctor on Friday of last week with extreme back pain and lower abdominal pain. I was terrified that I was already in labor but I wasn't. He told me that it was my muscles contracting and unfortunatly there is nothing I can do. He told me that my back pains were due to how I was carrying her and it is making my spine curve more than normal. He told me to get bed rest and I of course asked him if I was on mandatory bed rest and I am not. So right now I am still working but I stay in pain throughout the day and usually until I get home to rest. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers that the pain will stop soon. But other than that everything is PERFECT. Grayson is being his sweet self and loving on the belly/baby and he is very protective of me.

Last night I was given a wonderful baby shower by Terry, Pattie and Barbara. These are the 3 most wonderful women. We had it at Cajun Steamer. I know very random but it was a BLAST. Grayson just danced and danced to the music with Nally and Fallon. He then got tired and wanted to help open all of the presents until baby Jillian was given 2 stuffed animals and he wanted those instead. I received so much stuff and it is all PINK! Oh I never thought I would be excited about that color. She is going to be the best dressed little girl and her room is going to be precious. As soon as we get Grayson in his big boy bed for good I will finish her room. And then I will post pictures for everyone to see. Everyone take a look at the great pictures from the shower.

This weekend was so busy and we had a blast. We took Grayson to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday and it was FREEZING. He would barely get out of his wagon. It was so funny. The only thing he would do was ride the train. It was so funny. But we had fun picking out 2 pumpkins. A big one and a small one. I will take pictures when we carve them.

 

We also had some family pictures taken in Helena. I am so excited to see the proofs because the photographer was AMAZING. Her name is Wynter and she owns Wynter Photographer. You should all check her out at www.wynterphoto.com I will send you all the link and password as soon as I get it. She is super busy so I am not exactly sure when I will get them. Grayson had the best time hamming it up for the camera.

 

A quick Jillian update, I go to the doctor tomorrow to get my 2 week check up. I now go every 2 weeks. It is getting really close and I just can not believe it. I will let everyone know what the doctor says after I go tomorrow.

I went to the doctor last Tuesday and everything is perfect. He estimated that she weighs in around 4 pounds. We just can not wait to meet her. We also put together Grayson's big boy room. He loved it and I can not wait to see how he does in his big bed this weekend.

Well we just got back from Vermont and wow we are so tired. I never realized just how tiring it is to travel with a 2 year old. I am going to give a short little overview of our week. We started off on Saturday and we traveled all day. Grayson was wild on the first flight but then slept the last one. Granny picked us up at the airport and we drove the 2 hours to Vermont. On Sunday we took the hour or so trip to New Hampshire to see Grandma & Grandpa Benzaia and Aunt Terry. Grandma made her famous spaghetti and pork chops. The most amazing food ever. I was very impressed with Grayson. Although he sat in my lap the whole time. He actually sat through his first fancy dinner and ate 3 bowls of pasta. It was so great to see everyone. On Monday we were on our own. We went to Athens and had sandwiches and Julian played outside at his parents house. Grayson loved hanging out with the big boys and playing by the brook. We later went to the Dairy Cone for ice cream. On Tuesday we went to the apple orchard with John, Jessica, and George. Grayson absolutly loved all the apples. I can not wait to upload the pictures. Tuesday night we went to Jessica and Johns Wedding Shower. It was a beautiful shower for a beautiful couple. On Wednesday we hung out with Granny. We went to the Hugging Bear Inn and Grayson went to the most expensive bear there and he carried it everywhere. We finally settled on a doggy that we named Chester (after the town where the inn is). Granny also bought Grayson a new Elmo doll (since Scout ate his old one) and also bought Jillian a bunny. Another great day. On Thursday we went to Salem, Massachusets. This place is awesome but it was hard to do anything with a 2 year old. We did stay for the Haunted Happenings kick off parade. Oh my goodness I think this is my favorite memory of the entire trip. Grayson loved that they just threw free candy to him and we were even letting him eat it. That was the coolest parade I have ever seen. I think when the kids get older I would love to go back and do more of the tours. But Salem is a beautiful place. Granny was a great tour guide. Friday was crazy but uneventful. We ran a lot of errands and went to John and Jessica's wedding rehearsal. The next day we woke up early and went to the wedding and then back home to pack and hang out for our last day. On Sunday we woke up bright and early at 5:30 AM we finally got home around 6:00 PM. Thank goodness Tampa is a great kid airport. They had the best play area and Grayson slept during both flights. We are so happy to be home and Grayson is loving his bed again but Vermont and our family will be missed. I will upload the pictures as soon as I can.

Friday of last week Grayson went to see Doctor Lytle for his 2 year appointment. Everything was perfect. He weighs a wopping 30 pounds 9 ounces. He did a great job getting his flu shot and he was such a big boy during the appointment. I still can not believe I have a 2 year old and that my sweet little baby boy is now a big boy. Tonight he told me "Night Night my Mommy" my heart just crumbled. Oh he is just the sweetest thing. Last night he even told me "I love you mommy" He is talking like crazy and he is getting so smart!!!! He must get that from his daddy. That is it for now but we are getting ready to fly to Vermont at the end of this month. We are going to have a blast with Granny and Pops!!!!!!!

We had our doctor's visit yesterday. Everything was great. I have only gained 13 pounds this time. Wow I gained a total of 60 pounds last time and I think I had already gained around 40 pounds at this same time. I guess Grayson is keeping me very active. I had to take the diabetes test and everything went great. The test came back negative. I did have some problems getting the drink opened (the gross stuff I had to drink) but a nice man at the gas station struggled to get it open for me. She has a very healthy heart beat and it is always amazing to hear it.  We are truly blessed and we can not wait to meet her.

We had so much fun today. We woke up nice and early and went to my sister's house. Her neighbor's pulled out a water slide and then everyone else started pulling out all kinds of stuff. Dan started to try and get Grayson used to the slip n slide and man did he get used to it. He had a blast and kept breaking in line with the big kids. Dan was really pushing him down the slide. It was hilarious! He slept like a rock after playing all morning. Julian got home tonight from Kentucky and he had a blast. I hope we can continue to make sure that he is able to make that trip at least once a year.

Well everything is going great here. I am finally slowing down but I am finding it very hard because I am so used to going, going, and going. But I know it will be so much better for me and my boys. Grayson and I went to the annual Paws and Claws Bowl last night. For those of you not familiar with this; it is a HUGE rivalry between 2 local highschools. I went to Trussville (Paws) and we live in Clay (Claws). Grayson had a blast and ate so much sugar. He had cotton candy and sour straws. Wow he had a blast. We go to the doctor on Tuesday. I have to do the sugar test, yuck. I will update everyone as soon as I can. Julian is in Kentucky right now visiting his good friend from the army, Jeremy Barada. I am sure he is having a blast and I probably will not hear from here at all. Well I am uploading Grayson's birthday pictures. He had so much fun!

Well we celebrated Grayson and Fallon's 2nd birthday this weekend. We had so much fun!!!! Grayson had a blast and wanted to play with dolls instead of his new 4 wheeler that Mommy and Daddy gave him. Fallon was a pro on her 4 wheeler. She took off imediatly. They were precious and they really love each other. I will upload pictures as soon as I finish some pictures for some clients. Believe it or not we finally named our baby girl!!!! Her name is going to be Jillian Marie Benzaia. She will be named after her daddy Julian and me Marie. We are super excited. I went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great. I have an extreme cold but my doctor gave me some medicine and now I am feeling a little better. Her heart was amazing to hear. Grayson has gotten so sweet. Every single time we take his shirt off he points at his belly and says "Baby" He loves laying across my belly and giving the baby love. It is really fun and different doing this a second time. I sure do hope he stays this sweet!!!!

We went to the doctor today as a family. Grayson came with us and he was so good and he just sat next to me and watched the nurse until he had enough and then he wanted to play. We found out we are having a girl and she is very very healthy. We are so excited. We have not made our final decision on her name but we will put that on as soon as we figure it out. Take a look at the pictures that I added. Poor Grayson is so outnumbered by so many girls. He is the only boy on both sides. We are super excited and I just told my sister today and she already bought her a new dress. Oh she is going to be rotten.

 

Oh and right now as I am writing this I just felt her kick around and I was holding my stomach and there she was. I could feel her it was the best thing ever.

 

Thank you so much for all of your support! Oh and Congrats to Brooke and Brad on their baby boy, Justin and also Niki and Jessie on there precious baby boy, Whit. I am going to have a lot of clothes for the 2 of you.

We went to the doctor today and got to see little "rerun" again! He/She had a great heart beat. My sister said that it was hi, I think it was around 168. Which she said the rumor is that it is a girl! We will see in like 2 months. Everything else was great! The baby is very active and very healthy. We were excited to get all of the good news. I will upload the pictures soon!

Well as most of you could tell I have not updated this in a little while. Our internet has been down and they finally fixed it today. Yeah!!!! Well this is probably going to be long and I am going to try and update as many pictures as possible, there are a ton.

 

Well, to start our little "rerun" is doing great! I am going to update his/her new pictures. We are going again this Thursday to the doctor and I will get some more pictures. The heart beat is extremely healthy and he/she is really starting to look like a baby. The morning/afternoon/evening sickness is finally starting to slow down. Today was my first day without the naseau medicine and although I was feeling sick once I did great! I am finally getting energy back and starting to slowly feel back to normal. I will update again once we go on Thursday.

 

Grayson is great! We went to the mall today and he got 2 new pairs of shoes. He has been putting them on and then swapping back to the other pair all day. He loves shoes, he must get that from his mommy. He is talking like crazy and copying everything we say. I just love watching him grow and learn every single day.

 

Benny (Julian) has been working with his friend Chad on his sister in law's lawn mower. They have had a blast. He is working hard and has been a wonderful daddy the past couple of months.

 

I have had the craziest couple of months. My very best friend got married, congrats Jessica & Gavin. I will upload tons of pictures from that, including the bachelerette weekend (which I was pregnant at). The wedding was gorgeous and she was the most beautiful bride ever. Another good friend of mine is expecting a baby in June and we had a baby shower for her. It was precious and I can not wait to put the pictures up.

Well that is all for now but I will think of more as I go.

Hello everyone! Well we have some really big news to share!!! We are expecting baby #2 December 9th! I know I know so exciting. Some of you may already know but I wanted to make sure that everyone else knows. We are so excited and Grayson really has no clue. He just looks at my stomach, then says "baby" then tries to lift my shirt. He is just a wonderful little thing. We go to our next appointment on May 14th. We already heard the heart beat and I will upload the picture as soon as possible.

 

A little update on Grayson and everyone else. Grayson is talking like crazy. It was like all of a sudden I woke up and he was talking like a big boy. He climbs up into the kitchen table chairs and likes to read his books. Julian (Benny) is doing the same ol thing. I will get him to get on here soon and tell all of you what he has done with his old lawn mower. It is very impressive. I am doing great. I am just extremely tired because Benzaia Photography has really picked up. I have a photo package being auctioned off to help raise money for the Leukemia Society.

 

We will keep you updated on the new little "rerun" as Julian (Benny) calls it.

Easter was wonderful this year! We had a blast going Egg Hunting with the little man. He loved to run to the eggs and then shake them and break them open; then he would get the candy out and run to Mommy to open the candy for him. We went to 2 Easter egg hunts on Saturday and then we did 1 more on Sunday. Saturday night he was running up and down the halls Saturday night, he was sooooo hyper.

 

Easter Sunday we went to the Church of Highlands and Grayson loves going to the preschool there and he made it much easier for Fallon. Krista said it was the first time that Fallon did not cry when she left her. We went to Chef Bob's and had lunch and although that was a challenge (having a 19 month old) it was very fun and the foo was wonderful.

Well tonight Grayson finally ate with a spoon. He kept getting mad because he kept dropping the food but the dog definitly liked it. I turned around and he ate his whole dinner using the spoon. This is such a huge step and I am so excited that I had to share.

I know, Grayson is now 19 months and I have just now taken his first pictures in the crib that his daddy hand built for him. We are so proud of him because it is gorgeous and it is so well built. I can barely pick it up. Thank you Daddy!

So this past Saturday we went to the carnival and Grayson had a blast. I thought he would ride a couple small rides and then we would go home but the exact opposite happened. He loved all of the big boy rides especially the ferris wheel and the swizzler. Everyone thought we were crazy but he LOVED it. Have a look at the pictures. Our baby boy is growing up too fast.
