We are just an average American family living the American dream, I suppose. We love life here in Idaho and savor the dailiness of life. Ryan and I feel incredibly blessed to share our lives with eachother and our little women.
Hawaii was awesome. Yet, we titled this chapter "I have to go to the bathroom REALLY bad!" because traveling with a two year old who is newly potty trained is tricky!!! Lo and behold, we didn't have one accident. Oh wait, I take that back. I was running to the bathroom with her on my hip somewhere on our adventure and she wet on me. Does that count?
We were constantly looking for a bathroom or something for three little mouths to eat. I was fairly prepared, but 9 days on the road is quite the task with our three little women.
Some notable moments and thoughts from our trip would be...
*No one told us about the chickens and roosters in Hawaii! That is a pretty huge detail to leave out! We were woken each morning at 4am by the wild and crazy neighboring rooster. Awesome.
*Ellie had been told by her dad weeks before our trip that her dry elbows would be "healed" in the Hawaiian air. She exclaimed at the end of the trip that "her elbows weren't crusty anymore! Awesome!".
* Shaved ice. Not sure I would ever be a fan, yet here we were eating shaved ice everyday with icecream on the bottom and sweet cream on top. We are all fans.
* We all truly understand the humor in Finding Nemo now. AND we met many of the characters in the movie on our many excursions under the sea! In other words, snorkeling was so fun! We were all snorkeling virgins and it was our favorite part of the trip! So cool.
We enjoyed our time together and would love to go back someday. Our pocketbooks need some time to heal though....
So, I don't blog. Seriously. I have always thought, "WHO has the time to blog?!!". I have better priorities... Okay, so here I am blogging. I convinced myself that this will be a better way to share our pictures with our family and friends who live away from us.
Now, don't expect anything fancy and lots of creativity! I am doing this because I want to be better at sharing pictures, but I still don't feel that I have loads of time on my hands to be all "cute". Bear with me...
