Best Field Trip of the Year!
We just got back from our week up in the Smoky Mountains. What an amazing time we had seeing so many beautiful sights and wildlife! The girls learned a lot by all that we got to experience on this trip. It has been 3.5 years since we've been on a family vacation. It's not hard to imagine our excitement looking forward to this time away! We hope you enjoy the eight day's worth of albums and memories from our special time up there. We were so very blessed to take this trip. :)
A New School Year has begun!
What a joy it was to sit with the girls today! They completed their survey of all their favorite things. We had some new changes mixed in with the usual stuff. It was fun and full of peace- thank you, Lord! We have taken a more structured approach this year with our lesson plans and our daily schedule. Looking forward to sharing our year in pictures with you!
Summer is Here!
We have been enjoying the month of August out of school. We already have a couple of field trips on the calendar for later this month too. We are getting things in order to begin a new year of schooling. Lots of fun things are in store for us this year! Stay tuned... we look forward to sharing them with you up close in pictures.

Wow, 2011 has arrived! We hope the new year finds you happy & healthy. The holidays have been wonderful, and a much needed break to rest and refocus in the Cornett family. School starts back for us this Monday. It will be good to get back into a routine.
We are very excited to see what the Lord has in store for all of us in 2011.

School Has Started...
We are off to a good start. Madeline is using a new curriculum this year. Mia will transition into it after this year. It was more cost effective to keep her in what we already have for third grade. Our schoolroom has a new look and some new pieces of furniture. We are so excited to work in a clean, tidy & organized space.
We have also had a couple fun field trips and hope to have more planned throughout the year too. We are really looking forward to Kennedy Space Center this upcoming weekend! Pictures to follow soon.
