Well Austin's last day of school was Wednesday so we thought that we would take the kids camping. We packed up and left really early on Thursday morning. We checked the weather and they said there was a chance of rain off and on, they weather men around here are never right so off we went. Well we took a chance and went all the way up to Stanley, Idaho about a three hour drive. Of course we had to stop off and on since Hunter got sick. The mountains up here are really different from California. We miss the Sierras.... Well needless to say we only ended up staying one night because the weather man was right this time and it rained of and on, on Thursday and then really hard on Friday. We did not take a chance on Saturday.

Well I am finally off for the summer, that is good and bad. We kicked off our first weekend going to the Drive-in, we are lucky that they still have two here in Idaho. The twins were really excited about staying up that late and eating all that candy. We had way to much. It was around 90 degrees when we got out there and then the wind picked up and it got cooler, we had thunder and lighting going on during the first movie. So much fun. The kids ended up staying up through the first half of the second movie. Needless to say we all sleep in this morning.

Well here we go again, it has been a few months since I have updated the site. We are now into May and summer is almost here. The boys just had their 4th B-day and it was a blast, they love their new bikes. We go for bike rides as much as we can. We just got back from our first camping trip here in Idaho. Not what we thought it would be but we were spoiled by the California mountains. Kids are all doing wonderful and Austin will be out of school in about 15 days.... We hope all of you are doing well and we send our love.

I know I have not wrote since Christmas. I am sorry. Since then we have gone to the Oregon Trail site, took family pictures and had a few birthdays. The twins 4th birthday party will be tomorrow so I will put pictures up soon. They are having a superhero themed party. Lot's of fun. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their spring weather.

Well I still have not put up the pictures from Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I do have these. Holly had a wonderful idea to go up and feed the Elk. We had about five car loads of friends. Mostly Holly's work friends. We all met early in the morning in Emmett and drove up to Donnelly, Idaho. It took us about two hours to get up there. The snow started falling before we even left Meridian. So it was slow going but such a pretty view. They kids were so excited about going up there. When we finally get there we were a little bit surprised to find out that we would be riding on a home made trailer/sled that had hay bails on them. We sit on the hay and they take us out in the creek bed, tell us not to move and be really quiet, like that is going to work with a bunch of kids.  After you get out there and they start eating the hay that your butt is sitting on, you can talk and take pictures. It was not exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it was an experience and the kids had a lot of fun. Well I should say it was REALLY COLD and Hunter got sick and was not having the cold, since we were stuck out there for about one and a half hours he really had not choice. We then went and played on the frozen lake by the Tamarack Ski Resort. All in all it was a fun day, Hunter ended up getting sick  in the truck........

Well that is what we listen to around the house for all of December. The twins were at just the right age to understand the concept of Santa. December went by so fast this year. The kids talked about Santa day and night. They loved decorating the tree this year, and yes I stepped aside and let them do it all by themselves. I did not even go back and fix it after they were asleep (ha ha). This year we had our first every cookie swap, which was a lot of fun and also left us with way more cookies then we needed. But it was really fun getting together will just the girls. We got lots of snow just in time to be out of school and work for the holidays. We also got visitors this month, Gram Gram and Poppa Glen came up to visit. Austin also turned "10" this month. He had a sleep over for his birthday.

I am sooo late getting this updated. Hey maybe that should be one of my resolutions for the new year, up date monthly. Well what happened in November, so much. We had lot's of visitors this month and a lot of Birthdays....  Well for Thanksgiving this year we had Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Tom come and visit us for a week. We also had my parents come up for a few days for Thanksgiving. We took my parents up to McCall to see the mountains here in Idaho. It is kind like Shaver. Really pretty and expensive. But all in all the kids are doing really well and growing like weeds. I will get the Thanksgiving pictures up shortly.

Well this month has gone by so fast. We have had a change of weather here in Idaho. We are down to the thirty's at night and in the morning when I leave for work. The high is usually around 60-67. We are supose to have some rain coming soon. Austin is almost done with Football, he has one more game on Saturday and then his party Saturday night. They made it to the playoffs and now they are going for 3rd or 4th place. He had a lot of fun this year with that. Mike and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniv this month. Kids dressed up a few times this month before it was even Halloween. We had the a Halloween street party this year which was a lot of fun. The kids got to go to the pumpkin patch, ride a tractor and see some turkeys. Mike of course was thinking about his Thanksgiving dinner. We had a family Halloween dinner also, just so could make a Pumpkin Cake which turned out cute and tasted good (pictures to follow). So far we are getting into the hoildays with a bang. The house is halfway decorated for Thanksgiving.  

Yes, we finally went Apple picking. We had so much fun. Last weekend was a very busy weekend. Pictures will be posted soon. On Friday's we all go out to Austin's football practice to watch them have scrimmages with other teams. Then Saturday we had Austin's football game (WE WON!!!) and Matthew's 3rd birthday party at the park. So Auntie and I took the twins and Mike took Austin. After the party we all headed out to Emmett to pick some Apples. We had three car loads going.  That was the longest 20 minutes, when you have a truck full of 3 year olds.   It was a lot of fun. It seemed like it took us longer to get there then to pick them apples....   We ended up with 33 pounds.. Yep that's right. So later that day Kelly and the kids came over and we made Apple Crisp and made some pie filling. We did not even dent the box.  Life is good when your picking apples.......

Well we are all back at work and in school. The weather is changing and we are loving the cool mornings and windy afternoons.  Life is starting to get busy again. My hubby is back on days..... Thank goodness. I am back at work at the bus company, the twins are in "Big" school and Austin is at yet another school :(. Which he likes and so far is doing great with. It is Football season at our house again. Austin started practice about two weeks ago and had his first game last Saturday. The team did really well and Austin was first string and actually started and stayed in for most of the game.........
