GCLV Mothers Day Plant Sale May 10, 9-3

The sale will be at Long Valley at the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority building, 46 East Mill Road, Long Valley.  The sale will feature garden club members hand dug perennials; also, annuals; herbs; hanging baskets and a potting station where you can select your herbs or plants and have potted in a special basket.  Garden related items and garden services will be raffled.  Plenty of parking and our experts are here to help you select the best plants for your garden.

Mission Statement

The Garden Club of Long Valley strives to promote general interest in gardening in the community, encourage civic beauty and roadside beautification, and to study and teach the fineart of horticulture. The Club will aid in the conservation and protection of our natural resources and work to stimulate an interest in gardening and conservation among the youth of our community while furthering the objectives recommended by The Garden Club of New Jersey.

Regular Meetings 
The Garden Club of Long Valley serves Washington Township in Morris County, NJ.  We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm in members’ homes or local establishments. 

Plant Sale
Every Saturday before Mother’s Day, there is a club-sponsored plant sale for the general public.

Garden Tour June 7, 10-4

"Through the Garden Gate"  View seven gardens throughout Long Valley & Chester featuring unique styles of gardening from cottage to shade to organic vegetable gardens.  Several properties will feature ponds, arbors, and garden art. Woodland plantings, container plantings, succulents and a variety of specimen trees will also be highlighted on the tour.  There will be demonstrations, plant sale and a complimentary light fare.  Tickets $30, call 908-832-5075 or email longvalleygardeners@gmail.com
