2010 off to a great start!!

2010 has treated us well! Shaylynn has been fortunate to be able to get involved in Oral Cancer Awareness! Nick is loving his job and working hard everyday to earl many promotions!

In January we found out we are expecting our 1st little miracle on September 25th!!

We look forward to a year full of new and exciting things!!

2009 is coming to an End

2009 has definitely been the hardest year we have faced. We are looking forward to 2010 and all the things God has in store for us. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Love Nick and Shay

Really looking up...

Nick started a new job today!!! Truegree was pretty much a filler job. As in a job to get us by before he found THE ONE! :O) He is working as a Technical Support Analyst for Charter Communications! He is really excited for the job and there is tons of room for advancement!! Wish him luck on this new journey in his career! Of course all of are thanks are lifted above!

Things are looking up!

Nick has been offered a wonderful position with Truegreen! He starts Monday! Shaylynn starts school on Monday as well for her Radiologic Technologist degree.

Even though we have had a rough few months, God has finally sent some amazing blessings our way :O)

Happy New Year!

2008 was full of ups and downs. We know that God has a better plan for 2009! We hope everyone has a great year!

XOXO

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas! Shaylynn got to come home from the hospital today!! What a wonderful Christmas gift. We love you all!

Under the Knife

After getting a second opinion, Shaylynn is going to have her surgery here in Louisville, tomorrow morning! The DR here has opted for a less invasive surgery. Please keep us all in your prayers as she goes through this operation.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. We won't be spending time with the family this year, but with some very dear friends! Have a great day and eat lots of Turkey!

Please keep us in your prayers!

Shaylynn went into the doctors last week for a biopsy on her tongue. The results came back today and she has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the tongue, ie. tongue cancer. We will keep everyone up to date on www.remissionorbust.blospot.com. Please keep us in your prayers.

Love Nick & Shay

New Addition To The Family!!

Monday we got a 9 week old puppy! She is a beagle/Aussie mix! She is the cutest thing!!! We named her Colbie! She is already crate trained and can sit/lay/paw on command!! Her and Diesel are already having a blast together!!

Apartment

We packed everything up in Roanoke and moved it to our new apartment in Louisville! The apartment is fabulous! When you first walk in you go upstairs (kind of loft feeling)...once you are upstairs you are in the apartment! I love the stairs...but they made for a pain in the butt for moving in! We are located in the best spot in the complex. We don't have a lot of other apt buildings around. When you go out on the balcony you cannot see a soul...just beautiful trees and singing birds :O) There is an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, workout room, and even a little creek & bridge with trails! We love it!
