Well, it's been a busy and eventful fall. We bought some inflatable kayaks, and took them to Bald Mountain State park to try them out one beautiful fall day. They worked great, and the whole family got to try their skills. We are planning on getting lots of use out of them while camping next summer.

We also celebrated Halloween and Megan's 9th birthday with a family party in the afternoon, followed by a sleep-over that same night. It was busy, but fun.

This past week, the kids, me, and my mom went to the Macy's warehouse to get a backstage look at the floats and how they are made. It was interesting and fun, but COLD!

So now the Christmas season is upon us, and we have lots of things to look forward to. The weather has turned so cold so fast, it's taking some getting used to.
