We are looking forward to 2009 and anticipate making many joyous memories. It's all what we make of it right?! Love to all of our family and friends, both far and near -- may this new year bring many wonderful surprises to us all.

 Zev decided she wanted to cut her hair and donate it to Locks of Love. She gave 13"!  We are very proud of her generosity.

Fall is upon us and the leaves are so beautiful here! The log fog is starting to roll in at dusk and the birds are migrating south. This is such a magnificent time of year. I cannot believe that the first quarter of school for the kids is already over and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. We are looking forward to seeing some of you this season. It's difficult to believe the summer is now at an end and school is here. Lauren starting high school and Zev as a second grader - how the time does fly!!!

We had a fun time in Brookings this past weekend and were able to escape the 106 degree heat in southern Oregon which was great! We got to watch some gypsy dancers at the Arts Festival and enjoy delicious fresh seafood at a local hang out. A great last trip to wind down the summer here!

We are enjoying our summer here at the Leal Ranch - but we miss Lauren terribly!
Heading to Brookings (on the Oregon Coast) this weekend and hopefully some camping before the end of August with a bunch of other families.
