Meghan was just watching her favorite video.. ELMO.. she loves Elmo and was so excited when we rented it for her! She is now crying in her crib bc mom put her down for her nap and she can't watch the whole Elmo video again! Poor thing.. life is so hard!

Meghan is very spirited and likes to throw fits here and there, but we are trying to deal as best as we can, and teach her we won't give in to fits (or screaming). She is usually very good and obedient, and is learning so much each day! She says so much now and really tries to talk a lot. It is so neat to see what a cutie she is becoming! Her hair is her trademark and we have comments all the time about it! She likes her fro, and does not like for us to do anything to it to put it up! Maybe she will change that some down the road.. sure would be nice to put it in a ponytail or barrett once in awhile! We will see what happens when we try to get family pics!

Bryanna started 5th grade 2 wks ago and seems to like it a lot so far. She has a wonderful teacher who seems to really care about the education of the children, as well as how well they do in their work. I decided to let her walk to and from school this year, and she has a friend who usually walks with her so that is nice. She is doing well and becoming more responsible. We deal with some normal attitudes, but find when we keep our cool and stand our ground in love, things usually calm down a lot quicker.

We are definitely praying for wisdom in parenting in all areas with both of the girls! We want to have a peaceful, loving home! It sure is a daily lifestyle of surrendering to Christ as parents! Thankfully, He is so faithful, and covers any mistakes we may make at times too! Thank you Lord! 

Linsi had braces put on her teeth about a month ago now, and Bryanna may be getting them soon as well. It is an adjustment, but it is amazing how Linsi's teeth have already straightened, and she is getting more used to them, yet not looking forward to when they have to be tightened! She is trying to be a good example and not complain too much so that Bryanna will not be scared when she gets hers. It will be great to have hers taken care of while she is little though! Hopefully, Meghan will be able to avoid the orthodontist, but who knows?

Laile is doing well. He is going strong with flying, and it is great when we have him at home! He is a great husband and father and loves to play with the kids when he is home. (As well as mow the lawn and such) We are praying he will get a call soon and be accepted for a job with another company that will be better all around for him and the family, but trusting that God's will will be done.

We are going to make up a trip to KC, MO soon to visit Laile's Grandma. We have had to postpone 2 times already so we are looking forward to it! We are also looking forward to seeing more family while there, and maybe some friends from my past job. We will be making a trip to Tulsa soon as well to visit family and friends. 

Well, that about covers life for now!
