We thank the Lord for 2008, the year He gave us, and for all who have been obedient to His calling. Our family has had the priveledge of serving Him for many years. It was since Kirk was 5 years old when he accepted Christ while learning to tie his shoes. Until, now and the ministry He has blessed us with in Happy Camp. We can't tell you how blessed we are to feel the presence and power of God!
Well, this year is a special one for many Christians! Billy Graham turned 90 years old! Wow! Our country and the world has been blessed by God to know such an awesome man. Many unbelievers have been saved by God through the messages, he taught. Many have benefitted from his family and example, as well. Who doesn't love Samaritan's Purse and the Shoebox Ministry to millions all over the world. This family will never be forgotten and the founders of our nation would be proud of his influences of God in our nation!
We will enclose a poem written by Kirk's mom, Paralee Eadie. She asked God to give her a poem about Billy Graham, but it ended up all about Jesus and His faithfulness and His abilities to use anyone surrendered to Him. Thank you Jesus for Billy Graham and for allowing him to be apart of all of our lives for 90 years. What a celebration we will have, this year!

The world is a mess.
The economy's crashed.
Disasters have struck.
Hurricanes have lashed.
Celebrate Jesus!
Men are out of jobs.
Politics dominate.
People are hungry.
There are wars and hate.
Celebrate Jesus!
Where are the presents?
Where is the food?
Everyone's fearful.
Angry and rude.
Celebrate Jesus!
Celebrate Jesus??
How can I do that?
My hands are empty.
The economy's flat.
Celebrate Jesus?
Lift empty hands
To God above
As you celebrate Jesus
He'll fill them with love!
Take what you have--
Little or none--
Offer it to Jesus,
God's Only Son.
Two little fishes
And five loaves too,
Whenoffered to Jesus
What will they do?
So Celebrate Jesus!
Do as He's done,
Reach out people
With the love of God's Son.
Celebrate Jesus!!!!
Luke 2:10-11, "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ, the Lord."
Habbakkuk 3:17-19 " Even though the fig trees are all destroyed, an their is neither blossom nor fruit, and though the olive crops all fail, and fields lie barren; even if the flocks die in the fields and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be happy in the God of my salvation. The Lord is my Strength."
Loaves and Fishes story found in John 6:9-13.
This homepage will be full of actual happenings that are sure to bring a smile to your face and a few that will tug at your heart!
Throughout life, trials and triumphs have always touched our funny bone. We like to make people laugh by relating episodes-thus in this homepage.
Because our life has been so unique, these events are not of the usual character pertaining to life from our off the river cousins! Oh that you can be sure!
Sometimes, we don't even need help in creating these predicaments. God has graciously allowed us to get into all kinds of things on our lonesome.
So, keep in mind, these are real life stories and situations with prayers to the Father behind them!
I guess it takes a downriver, country Christian family to see the humor of life that our Father in Heaven has allowed! For those leading a different kind of life, our humor may be more bizarre, than funny! It does take all kinds to make the world go round!
May this homepage draw you all closer to the Lord Jesus Christ in an amazing way! And may you all know that God has a sense of humor and loves all of us very much!
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NIV
