Lovingly preserved and freshly restored, this rustic beauty sparkles! Architecture is reminiscent of Yosemite's Ahwahnee Hotel, with cathedral ceilings, stripped redwood beams, and 4 river rock fireplaces. This idyllic retreat was built in 1930 by Pebble Beach residents, Grace and Paul Veeder to relax and entertain guests. Cherished by our 5 family generations as a private hideaway home, The Ranch House is now offered as an exclusive, executive family retreat that today's multiple generations can treasure as they enjoy precious time together. Exquisite kitchen, 3 bedrooms / 2 quaint bathrooms (pedestal tub/shower in the guest suite and a candlelit fireplace shower in the master suite) with custom furnishings throughout. Careful preservation and upgrades adorn this historic treasure. Just 15 minutes from Carmel, and its coastal fog, The Ranch House at Garzas Creek soaks in Carmel Valley sunshine most of the year. Minutes away to golf, horseback riding, shopping, fine dining, & wine tasting.
Comfortably sleeps 6 - 8, and can accomodate larger groups with our sofa sleepers and trundle. Call for details!

Carmel Valley sunshine soaks through the oak studded forest.
Every day, millions of leaves fall from the trees - leaving a beautiful array of color on the lawn. Thanks to our hardworking team: Alberto and our Dad, Tim Condon, the leaves are raked and gathered away to provide a neat and tidy welcome to our guests.
Soon all the leaves will be gone, and spring will come! Yeah!
It still looks much as it did back then! Only better than ever before!

Interesting fact: Shortly after The Ranch House was built in 1930 - America's "First" Great Depression, a kindly carpenter approached Paul and Grace Veeder - and offered his services in exchange for rent at The Ranch House. For one year, "Joe" lived at The Ranch House, and embellished the rustic cabin with his handiwork - made from limbs and logs he cut and crafted on the property. Today, we are inspired by this example of ingenuity and trade of services in the midst of difficult economic times. Eighty years later, Joe's contributions to The Ranch House remain as treasures hewn from hard times.
Come to The Ranch House to see for yourself Joe's touches that still adorn The Ranch House today.
We look forward to giving you and your family and friends an exquisite, Carmel Valley welcome at The Ranch House at Garzas Creek.

See "Joe's" work from the original sepia photos to today's color frames: the twig dining table and benches, the living room accent chairs, the dining room drawers, the rustic twig and wooden door latches, the great room fireplace mantle, and the cottonwood trim. Treasures that have stood the test of time and hardship.
I rented the cabin for my friends on the weekend of the Big Sur marathon. we had a group of 14 people and I was very concerned with having enough comfortable space. The cabin met and exceeded our expectations. Welcoming bottle of wine and fresh flowers, amazing grounds, killer outdoor fireplace, gourmet kitchen, hot tub with a view, every last detail is impeccable. Colleen is a delight to work with, the groundskeepers are sweethearts. I am thinking of making this trip a tradition.
Sincerely,

We greatly enjoyed your special Ranch House! It was such a treat to get away to a spectacular spot for rest and relaxation! The big fireplace and beautiful dining room table made our evenings memorable. The Bedrooms were charming with Robes in the closet waiting for us upon arrival. Our dogs loved the big fenced yard and treasured moments playing together outside under the big oak trees.
Colleen did an excellent job restoring the Cabin with antiques and pictures from the past. The Cabin has everything you could ever need while on a weekend adventure! It features a rustic and romantic setting with candles and heated floors throughout. We felt blessed to have the opportunity to share quality time with our friends at such an incredible Cabin! Thank you for making that possible. We look forward to returning someday soon!
