Hello Friends and Family,
I have created a new site. I plan to keep this updated regularly, but no promises.
I hope you will enjoy!
Love,
The Schwecke's
What can I say. We've been busy and I haven't been able to keep up with all our pictures.
In March, Austin went to his first children's musem, he also went to the San Diego zoo for the first time.
In April, we saw the Easter Bunny and had an Easter Egg hunt with our Young Marrieds bible study class. This is becoming our yearly tradition. I enjoy seeing all the kids hunt for eggs. Althought Austin was not really interested in hunting for eggs. He rather play in the grass.
Just last night Austin went to his first baseball game. We also went with our bible study class.
We tailgated before the game. That was alot of fun, but alot of work with a 2 year old.
We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and friends that Austin can have for a life time.
I've added some new pictures from January and February. In January Austin and I flew to Ohio to surprise my brother for his birthday. He was very surprised. We had a great visit. We are blessed that we were able to go and spend some time with Mike and Sarah.
Yesterday was Valentine's day. We celebrated and went to Lake Arrowhead on Saturday. We had a great day. We ate waffles, played at the park, played in the snow, and had an ice cream. :)
Next Monday is our 6 year anniversary. I can't believe it's 6 years already. Looking forward to many more years with Mike.
Our baby turned 2 years old on December 6th. We had a great birthday weekend. On Saturday we celebrated Austin by having a birthday party at our house. We had a jumper and made ice cream sundae's. Austin had a great time in the jumper. When it was time to open presents he was a little overwhelmed. On Sunday his actual birthday we took him to Disneyland. We had a nice family day. Austin's favorite ride is small world.
We thank God for our wonderful miracle. Thank you, Austin for giving us so much joy in our lives. We love you very much.
Thanksgiving went by fast and boy mama made the best meal. It was so good. Holidays remind me of my Grammy. This is the first year without her, but she will always be in our hearts. I miss her dearly.
Thanksgiving is over and now we are moving on to Christmas festivities. We took Austin along with his other cousins and Great-Aunties to Irvine Park where they have a Christmas train that takes you to the North pole. At the North Pole we visited Santa and took pictures.
Austin loved the train ride and looking at all the Christmas lights. We had a wonderful time. We plan on making this a new tradition every year.
Thanks to my wonderful and thoughtful family. I had a great birthday weekend. We went to La Jolla and ate at my favorite pizza place. They have the best pizza and bread. We swam in the pool went to the beach and to Balboa park. It was busy but relaxing.
I am so blessed to have a loving and supportive Mom and Dad, a wonderful husband and the cutest and funniest kid. I love you all very much!
The last few months have been pretty hectic. My Grandmother passed away in May. I miss very much.
June 1st we moved into Mike's dad rental house. He is kindly letting us live here. His Dad has renovated the house and it looks beautiful. I am grateful we have a home to live in. Just 10 days later we were off to Ohio for my brother's wedding. This was such a beautiful wedding. We had a great time. We are so excited to welcome Sarah into our family.
We came home then Sarah and MIke were off on their honeymoon in Maui. A week later they came to stay with us for a week and half. We enjoyed having them stay with us. June 27th Mike and Sarah had a second reception for our family that did not get to go to the wedding. We had a great time at the California reception too!
Needless to say we are finally getting back to some sort of routine. Austin is learning more everyday and making us laugh all the time.
I thank God for the many blessings He has given us. I am so grateful that He is providing for our family.
May God Bless your family!
