The Whisper Mountain Weber Family Home - theweberhome

Neighbors await progress in Whisper Mountain

breaking ground

The dream...

Gerry & Sally Weber came to Timeless Mountain Homes of Black Mountain North Carolina after spending time researching log homes and learning about the benefits of the True North Log Home  building system. The process began with sketchs of floorplans Gerry and Sally each had drawn. Add to that the complexities of the goals they had in which the home would have the majority of it ADA (Americans with Disablities Act) compliant with  an elevator, a desire for an in house swim spa, LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and the WNC Green Building Council's HBH (HealthyBuilt Home) certification all while maintaining a solid budget in this challenging mountain setting. Everyone had their work cut out for them but when teamed together with Timeless Mountain Homes and the True North design staff a lovely home was created.

The logs are a home!
