Hi faith and Boo. I am glad to hear you had fun swimming at our house. We miss you guys. Have your mom show you the silly video I made of Tanner and Hanna at the lake. They had a mud fight and they got really dirty. also, Annie I found what I was looking for. one of my kids put it away wrong.

T-Ball

Brooks had his first T-ball game. He loves it. He's such a stud. He got to play catcher and pitcher during this game. In the last inning he tagged all three outs. What a ballplayer!

3 on 3 hockey

Brooks is playing Hockey this summer in a 3 on 3 tournament. He is really having fun being a "real hockey player". We even got to meet the coach for the Spokane Chiefs at the grocery store the other night. Some of these pictures are a little blury. He is in a red jersey with a blue penny over it. He loved being goalie.

Fun at the Lake

We got away for a few days to the "Chaff Inn". We had beautiful weather. The kids played on the beach for hours on end. Faith was brave enough to ride the tube with Momma and Cruz. Kyle even got to surf behind the boat. It sounds like it is a really good sport for an old man with a bum knee!

New York

Bridget and I went on a very quick trip to New York. Our beloved Aunt Pat passed away and we went to be with family. We got to go on a little sight seeing trip to Manhattan. It was great to see Grandma Murk and everyone else. It is so amazing how much Uncle Bobby looks like Dad. Crazy!

Fun in the Sun

We got a new pool that has taken over our lives. We have to go swimming many times a day. The kids are having so much fun and really enjoy going under water. Yeah! I thought they looked like such bathing beauties laying on their towels. They said they were sunbathing. Aren't they cute?

Water, water, water

We met Lisa, Kolby and Ryan at the waterpark this week. We had so much fun. If Lisa and I had a good time. We went on the water slide, floated in the lazy river and had a great lunch. Lots of fun in the sun!

Baseball Clinic

Brooks and Faith got to go to a clinic at the Indians baseball field. They spent two hours rotating around stations with the baseball players as their teachers. It was really cool. To top it all off we got to sit in really great seats and then the kids got to go on the field during the 7th inning stretch. They thought they were big time.

Okay, so Faith made the front page of the sports section of the newspaper and she is on a video blog. I am pasting the link here. You have to scroll down the screen a ways to find the baseball clinic video. She is towards the end of the video and if you look really close you can see Brooks in line behind her. So amazing!

Fun Times

We spent one of our last weeks of summer in Seattle. Kyle worked and the kids and I played with Bridget, the kids and Grandma Peggy. The girls got to have a special pedicure at "Lily's". It was so cute. Brooks got to go on a trailer bike ride with Uncle Eric. He talked the whole 6 miles. Big surprise! We went to the zoo, fishing and spent a lot of time swinging in the backyard. The kids had a blast. Especially Harry and Brooks. They had a lot of "boy" time up in Harry's room. These are only some of the pictures and I hope to add more later.

They are growing up too Fast!

Brooks started his Kindergarten this week. He was so excited and nervous. He loves it and counts the minutes every day until he gets to go back. I got a great picture of he and his buddy from church Micah. I see this picture turning up someday in high school. I had to include the picture of Faith walking down the stairs after dropping him off, she was shaking her bum as she walked and it was so cute.

The next day, Faith started preschool. She was really excited and loved it, too. She is not ready to start talking to her teachers though. Little do they know that when she starts she won't stop.

I can't beilieve they are getting big so fast. I try to cherish every moment. I get time alone with both of them each week. It is kind of fun.

Fun Times

We had a fun trip to the Spokane Fair. The kids got to pretend to be in jail, pet a giant turtle, and they each rode 1 ride. They wanted to do more. I guess next year we need to spend the whole time on the rides. Soon after, we went to our favorite birthday dinner place, Red Robin. The kids and I enjoyed the ice cream sundae. It was so fun.

We are so proud!

Brooks was selected as VIP for his Kindergarten class. We go to have lunch in the library with the principal where he received an award and a handshake from Mr. Gannon. He was so excited. The coolest thing was the wonderful things that his teacher had to say about him. The one thing that brought tears to my eyes was that she said he always walks into the room with a smile which makes others smile also. It reminds me of the same thing that I hear about his Daddy all the time. We are so proud of our VIP!

Family Time at the Farm

Bridget and the kids came to visit this weekend. We took the kids up to Green Bluff and played in the maze, jumped on the bouncy castle, and went through the blow up haunted house. They each got to pick out there own pumpkins and pick apples from the tree. It was so much fun. We took advantage of some good photo ops, too.
