Updates
Week Three
Finally, warmer weather! We are working hard on technique and really breaking down the individual strokes. The kids are having fun, and are learning very quickly. As Time Trials gets closer, we are seeing big improvements, from ages 4 to 17!
Week Two
As the second week of the season approaches, we are hoping that we can get in the water on Monday. We plan on, first, focusing on technique-one of the most important aspects of swimming! We plan on working a lot on drills, implementing them in each stroke.
First Week
The first week of practice, though it was only dryland, was a great success! Swimmers got to know each other and the coaches, and we welcomed our new Tornadoes-bringing our total number to around 115! They were also able to participate in an awesome workout, led by Mrs. Sidler. We are very excited to get in the water!
*UPDATE*
TIME TRIAL MAKE UPS, for those who were in attendance for the first round of timing, will be Friday June 3rd at 4pm. If your swimmer was absent, they do not need to be timed, we will be taking their times from the first meet as their first set of times in the record.
