rainy days

Willa tests the waters...

Taking shelter for a moment...

Bravery in pairs...

Getting a little bolder...

Fearless Glory

"Come here, Glory!"

Glory finally decides that this is fun

Glory is proud of being "all wet!"

Her new favorite face

Willa gives rain the "mean face"

All done

Is it really almost November?
Just a quick update to say that all is going perfectly with the pregnancy - but being nine months pregnant has made me a lazy photographer/blogger. :) Hopefully much, much more to come when I'm a little more mobile and energetic (albeit sleep deprived) once Sona arrives.
Saw one of my midwives today and everything looks just as it should, we're just waiting. My due date is in 10 days, however, I wouldn't be suprised if November 7th came and went with no baby to be seen yet. We'll all just have to wait and see!
8 weeks to go!!!
It's shocking to say that I am 32 weeks pregnant... It doesn't seem that long ago that I was just barely 6 weeks pregnant and we were at Disney World with my family. Pregnancy certainly goes a lot faster when you've got two little ones to keep you busy.
The girls recently had their (belated) two year well visits with Dr. Adams. They were both deemed perfectly healthy both physically and developmentally. They remain around or above the 90% for all of their measurements and measure nearly identically. (Heights were 36 1/2" and 36 3/4", Weights were 32 1/2 lbs and 33 lbs, Heads were 20'' and 20 1/2'') They know all of their numbers between 1 and 10 and every once in a while they'll get most of them in order, although they prefer a more "free form" version of counting... "1, 6, 8, 7..."
Sona is growing and doing well. Our appointments with the midwife are always uneventful, the best kind. We're getting more and more anxious to meet her, although the girls are still pretty oblivious. It's so much easier to get around carrying just one baby! I was even able to (mostly) keep up with my mom and sisters on a Saturday shopping trip to the Canton Trade Days. We had a great time and I got a headstart on October birthday gifts.
That's it for now!
Coming Soon - Sona Mae!
As most of you already know, we're expecting another baby girl in early November. The girls love to say "Hi Sona!" to my evergrowing belly (and occassionally to Daddy's belly too...)
The name Sona is Scottish Gaelic for "happy, joyful, content, peaceful". We thought it would be nice to honor some of Senator's Scottish heritage, since the girls are named after ancestors of mine.
All is going smoothly with the pregnancy so far. We are seeing the same midwife that delivered the twins and plan to deliver in her birth center again.
We'll post more updates as they come!

What fun! Dancin in the rain - no puddles? We sure have some big ones here.
