Micah Milestone!
Micah crawled Saturday! He has been working hard and doing a mean army crawl and other scooting and sit/crawl variations, but he genuinely crawled. His belly was up and he finally figured out how to make his arms and legs work at the same time! Aaron was at work, but I managed to capture some later crawling on video, which will be uploaded soon. We are so proud!
He is also standing up on his own well while holding on to things. We want to just enjoy the crawling for now, and think the walking can wait a bit!
Happy Birthday to Bennett!
Our nephew, Bennett, turned 1 on the 22nd. He had his party today in Oklahoma City and we were not able to attend due to our current location. However, we did get some great shots sent by Mama Tiger of Bennett covered in cake! So, happy birthday and thanks for making the world a more joyful place for a whole year. We can't wait to spend more time with you in the near future!
Need Referrals
We are looking for a few good men or women! One of the things we need to do is find some doctors when we move back. If anyone knows of a great pediatrician, family doctor, eye doctor, and or dentist, please let us know! Thanks.
Public Knowledge
We promised an announcement soon! As of this morning our new appointment is public knowledge! We are excited to be the newest pastoral family to serve at Trinity UMC in Muldrow, OK. The church serves the communities of Roland and Muldrow and the areas are ripe for growth! Located about 10 minutes west of Ft. Smith, AK, or as I, Heather, like to say, less than an hour and 1/2 southeast of Broken Arrow, OK! Add another 20 minutes to Owasso! This of course makes Micah's grandparents and the rest of our friends and family very happy, and us as well. It will be wonderful to have family so close again. We are eager to see the church, parsonage, and communities in person, as well as to meet lots of new folks. We have been very blessed to have friends, family, and some great church members send us photos of our new locale. Our SPRC chair, Bob, even sent us a hand-drawn floor plan of the parsonage, which of course provided me with a well-needed sense of control since I could visualize our living space and begin planning! We have been on wikipedia of course, researching the towns of Muldrow and Roland and searching their local paper's archives for articles on the church. We feel blessed to have such a great first appointment and are eager to begin this new journey. It will be wonderful to be serving in ministry again. We know God has great things in store for everyone.

Six Months of Sweetness!
Micah turned 6 months old on Monday! It seems like we were just bringing him home from the hospital, so tiny and fragile. Now he is on the verge of crawling, cutting his first two teeth, babbling away, and making each day such a joy! He is still on the tiny side as he was in the 2% of weight, 13 lbs 6 oz, at his 6 mo. check-up, but he has a BIG personality. Some of his favorites right now are having mom and dad sing "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider," chew on anything, reaching for Beau, laughing at daddy's funny faces and noises, playing with our neighbor, Connor, playing on the big bed with mom and dad, and blowing raspberries. We can't wait to be back in OK so family and friends can spend more time with our little blessing~!
Almost Home
Well, we got the call! The Tigers are heading back to Oklahoma around the 24th of May, after Aaron graduates from Seminary. We are so excited to be coming home, although there are many we will dearly miss here in Kentucky. I would love to tell you where we will be calling home, but alas, we are gag ordered for at least another week! A few clues: Yes, we have heard of the town, Godhead three in one, Largest town nearby with a Walmart is not in OK, The county is the name of Heather's middle school.
We will be sending out moving cards with the new address soon and check back for the announcement!
