Principal's Notes:
Conference Schedule: Conferences are right around the corner! Please check your child's Tuesday Folder for your conference times. Your time slot is the same as it was at the fall conferences. If you are new to the school you will be assigned a time. Please call if you are unable to make your scheduled time, we will do our best to reschedule. You are welcome to contact your child's teacher at anytime with questions or concerns.
Lunch Notices: Lunch balance notifications are now going home when your child has a balance of $10.00 not $20.00. We are hoping this will save a significant amount of paper while still trying to keep you informed of your child's lunch balance. Please remember you can check lunch balances on Parent Portal. Don't have a Parent Portal account or have questions on how to use it? Please contact us ~we will help you out! It is an easy and convenient way to stay informed!
Peanut Free lunches: If you child comes to school with a peanut product in their lunch you will receive a note home stating that it had to be removed.
One tip: if you are packing a home lunch and are not sending a product in its original packaging ~please indicate that you have checked the label and it was peanut free or not manufactured with peanuts. Ideas include; attaching a note and writing on the bag with permanent marker. Thank you for your help in keeping our school safe for all of our students.

Important Notice
Liberty Elementary is a PEANUT and TREE NUT FREE School. Due to several students having life threatening allergic reactions to peanuts, we are a peanut and tree nut free environment. Our kitchen observes this policy as well.- Do not send anything containing peanut butter, tree nuts or peanuts to school in sack lunches.
- Do not send snacks that contain peanut butter, tree nuts or peanuts.
- Do not send anything that states on the label it may contain peanuts or manufactured on equipment that also handles peanuts.
Please also remember that we do not allow fast food to be brought into the lunchroom. This is an effort to support our school lunch program and promote healthy choices.
