I update photos occassionally. Stop back and check it out.
Reggie got a new basket for his toys. He LOVES baskets as you'll see!!!!!!
Sammy didn't get to take part in too much of Halloween...he's too much of a "sweets" lover. Any candy left within sniffing range, he's on it. So, he spent an hour or so in "his bedroom" on his nice soft doggie bed while the candy was being handed out and eaten.

It's been a while since I've done an update. Surgery went well on the 4th. I'll be going back for a follow up visit on March 10. I have one more week off of work until I return. I'm going for walks everyday and trying to be a good patient. Recovery has been going well. I have minimal headaches...I think due to the surgery. My vision is still strange, but maybe that will improve with time. I might go see the eye doctor this week or sometime before my follow up visit with Dr. Haines. I get the stitches out on Tuesday!!!!!!! I'm pretty excited about that. They haven't been too annoying, but annoying enough.
Eric had a fun Valentine's Party at school...they went ice skating at the hockey arena. He face-planted it on the ice and came home with a big-time shiner! He looks like a TOUGH-GUY now!
On another note, the bulldog babies have been born. As you know from earlier posts, we've been planning to add a baby bully to our family. If all continues to go well with my recovery, we'll hopefully be getting a cute little puppy in April. Susie and I are hoping to visit the babies on March 10 when we're in the cities. Yippee!!
Take care.
Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy surgery is scheduled for February 4th. This will hopefully release the pressure build-up of cerebral spinal fluid in my brain, thus easing the headache pain. I don't know if you'll be able to open the attachment since it is created on a "SmartBoard" program.
If you look in my "Favorite Sites" section on the bottom right, you'll find a link to a software converter. Then you'll hopefully be able to view it.
Anyway, that's the news. Now I just wait another 1 1/2 weeks for the surgery.
Here's a great/graphic video of they type of surgery it is.
On Monday I went to the doctor. He recommended that I get an MRI done of my head. They also did a couple blood tests. Off to Willmar I went to get the MRI done at 4:15. Tuesday the neurologist and doctor discussed the MRI results. Good news: I have brains AND there was not a tumor. They did notice that the ventricles in my brain are enlarged due to a retention of the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. This pressure is causing the headaches and is pushing on the optic nerve causing my "weird vision".
On Wednesday, they scheduled me to meet with Dr. Haines at the U of M Neurosurgical Dept. in Minneapolis on the 20th. Once I have that consultation, I'll know more about treatments, etc.
Enjoy the above zero weather!
