Costa Rica is located in Central America, a small country (only covering .03% of the surface of the globe), sandwiched between Nicaragua and Panama. Small but mighty when it comes to experiences and beauty. 25% of the Costa Rica is conservation and natural protected areas, so their slogan "No Artificial Ingredients" is appropriate Costa Rica is a friendly country where education is mandatory and free ... and peaceful (no army since 1949).
Our six night adventure only hit a fraction of what Costa Rica has to offer. We visited the Central Valley (San Jose, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, La Fortuna/Arenal), and then headed down to the South Pacific Coast of Quepos/Manuel Antonio. I've documented our Costa Rican journey on this mini-website along with photos with each journal page. Along the way, we had excellent drivers between each destination who not only made sure we were comfortable, but also were professional, courteous, prompt, and provided a "mini-tour" as we drove through the countryside from the beginning to the end of our journey ... stopping to check out wildlife and filling us in on what we passed as we drove through the country.
I invite you to sit back, browse through our day to day adventures, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica with Pattie Mitchell of Travel Dreams, my husband, Drew, and our 12 year old son, Keith. Of course ... when you're ready to plan your own adventure ... whether it be Costa Rica or anywhere in the world ... be sure to contact me and I'll make your "Travel Dreams" come true!
