Welcome to the Tri Lakes Fly Fishers website! We are a group of fun loving folks who have come together for a common goal - fly fishing! We chase anything that has fins with a fly - bluegill, rock bass, all sunfishes, largemouth & smallmouth bass, crappie, trout (all species), bonefish, tarpon, permit, stripers, white bass, musky, carp and even catfish, to name but a few.
We have fished all over the world from Alaska to Belize and back again, but really prefer wading our home waters and our three name sake lakes - Pomme de Terre, Stockton, and Harry S. Truman Reservoir, which is how we got our name Tri Lakes.
We meet on the first Monday of the month at Smith's Restaurant at 1340 Highway U, south of Bolivar. We usually meet around 6:00 P.M for dinner and tall tales, and the regular meeting kicks off at 7:00 P.M.
We are going to use the KISS principle with this website - Keep It Simple & Short. Here you will find our latest newsletter, pictures from our outings and a calendar of upcoming events - both in the club and in the area. Also check out our links page while your at it - you might find something you can use. Visit us regularly to see what we're up to.
