Waiting communication with whole family to organize the procurement of the stone
after the site is fully obtained in Ty's name.
Once the stone is purchased it will be moved to the holding grounds until it can be placed
next to the tree and the Bronzr Portrait will be later be attached to the stone.

Ty, Huang & Kristi took a trip to Southwest Boulder & Stone in Fallbrook,CA.
There were numerous large boulders that we could choose from.
We chose the Baja Cresta for its colors & stone indentations.
The Large stone that works the best looks like the one in the top right of this photo.
It has a similar look to a rounded edge pyramid & looks BEAUTIFUL standing up....
like a small mountain.... the Bronze Portrait with look wonderful on this stone .

Baja Cresta
Churning with vibrant eruptions in bronze, teak, wine and verdigris, these rugged boulders seem only recently created.
Size: boulders and palletized rubble
Sat. 11.13.10
Ty along with Kristi met Mark Allen (www.boulderscapes.com) (@ the Laguna College of Art & Design in Laguna Beacg,Ca.) to explore new possibilities of designing TY's Memorial Stone exactly the way he has envisioned.
The rocks & boulders seen so far are not presenting themelves as a good workable solution at this time to what the Memorial Monument needs to be..
Ty & Kristi are drawing the Monument to present to Mark Allen to design the work that will be the first of it's kind @ the W.Minster Memorial Park & quite possibly be the 1st of it's kind ANYWHERE in a memorial park.
The stone will be fitted with Ty's sculpted portrait to appear as if it has been sculpted in the stone ... as if a miniature Mt.McKinley
Fri. - 11.5.10
Ty, Victor (son), Huang (friend), Joe Sovella (stone artist) & Kristi Smith (portrait sculptor) all met today @ the College of Art to examine the marble stones that have been selected.
Today, TY found the Coral Colored Marble from Italy and we saw how the bench could be cut out of one piece of stone & blend better with the surrounding grounds where it will reside.
Sat. 10.30.10
Ty & his friend Huang Luong along with co-creator Kristi Smith met Joe Sovella @ the Laguna College of Art to find the special stone momument that would hold Ty's Bronze Bas Relief for his finished work of art to be placed @ the West Minster Memorial Park.
