Information

Thank you for your interest in renting our home in Masmolène.  The house is built into the side of a stone hill, which keeps it cool all summer.  There is a lovely courtyard with a stone wall for privacy, and is shaded by a wisteria arbor.  There is a large, well equipped kitchen, small bathroom (with a vaulted stone ceiling), and a living room/dining room on the main floor.  There is enough room for 6 people, but it is most enjoyable with two-four people. Because of the danger presented by the easy accessibility to the high rocks from the side terrace and the back of the house, we do not rent to families with young children.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), and a small sitting room with a two-person daybed.  There is also a large, luxurious bathroom.  There is a washing machine in the closet.

The village of Masmolène (150 inhabitants), has no café or stores, but you are only 12 kilometers to Uzès or Bagnols s/Cèze.  The Cevènne mountains are one hour by car, as is the Mediterranean Sea.  The city of Avignon is half an hour.

Rent for the house is 700€ per week (7 nights) for up to four people and 35€ per week for each additional person.  All linens are provided.  There is someone who prepares the house for your arrival and cleans the house when you leave.  There is a locked garage for your car.

The rental period must start on a Saturday afternoon (4PM) and end on a Saturday morning (11AM).

The house is often reserved in advance, so if you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible
