The Valencia Hills WAVE Swim Team has been going strong for many years. Before becoming the WAVE we were known as the Valencia Gold. We are part of the Santa Clarita Swim League which consists of local neighborhoods within the city of Valencia. Having a swim team is a great way for the neighbors to get to know each other on a more personal level than just a simple WAVE as you pass on by. We get together for 4 meets over the weekends during swim team season. Which runs from June 1st to mid July. This gives the children an opportunity to experience the thrill of a competition in a friendly environment. Our swim team is run by parent volunteers. It takes over 50 volunteers to run a swim meet as well as social activities throughout the season.
If you would like to post photos from your neighborhood events you can bring in your pictures to Leah at the club house. Make sure they are on a flash drive and we will post them for you.
