Thanks so much for stopping by again and of course, thank you for your wonderful comments. To answer your question, I am a Nikon fan and have used all kinds of Nikon cameras over the years (film and now digital). At the moment I have a Nikon D80 and recently spurlged on a Nikon D700. I have quite a few lenses from zoom to wide angle, a macro zoom (Nikon calls them micro lens) and a fish eye. I tend to use one of the zoom lenses for flowers, but every once in awhile I will use the macro (105mm micro) but this can be difficult because of the focal length and a steady hand is needed if I forget my tripod. I use Nikon Capture NX2 software rather than Photoshop for any adjustments; cheaper and so much easier to use. I am now experimenting with HDR and panoramas, but I have not had much time to learn the software. To be honest I do not think you need all this stuff to take good photographs and some my earlier shots were taken with a basic Nikon. I guess it is really about passion and love for whatever one enjoys doing.
Glad you enjoyed your trip to the UK. I used to go back quite often but now around once per year to visit my sister and brother.

I also wanted say that I visit Taking America Back often and I have passed it on to many of my like minded friends, love the site. All the info on Ted Kennedy was enlightening, it's funny how time tends to fade the memory.

I would love to go and see New Zealand. That would be on my top 10 list. I also hope to return to Venice maybe on one of my future cruises.
I am currently shooting with a Nikon D80 camera and I love it. The only thing is I need to brush up on the manual and view a dvd just to learn all that it can do. How many camera do you shoot with? I do love your quote by Ken Rockwell. So true.

I looked at a few more at your website, I liked the Nevada book ( I happen to live in Reno, NV), Colorado was cool, I loved the Southwest book,

I wanted to let you know how much I agree with your thoughts about our country!! God Bless our troops past and present!! We are going to the Memorial Day ceremonies at Laureland in Dallas for the Veterans show. They have a wonderful event and tribute ever year and it's beautiful with the flags waving proud!!
