Welcome to the auto tour for this 2001 VW TDI, including pictures I've taken of the exterior, interior, and under the hood.

Details:
2001 Golf TDI, Silver, 2nd owner, 85k miles, clean title/VIN, no rust.
New rear brakes (pads/rotors/calipers), new turbo, all VW maintenance up to date.

About the conversion:
This car was converted to optionally run on Straight Vegetable Oil via a custom conversion kit from Greasecar.com.

The greasecar system is designed to run on recycled vegetable oil, however, only brand-new Costco veg oil has ever been used in the auxiliary tank. When in veg-mode, the car has meticulously been run according to greasecar's recommendations. The greasecar system works very well, mileage is the same on diesel as on veg oil.

The veg oil is stored in an auxillary tank, in the boot of the car (in the spare tire well). Apart from the switch between the seats, and the fuel guage indicator (photos of both) the car is indistinguishable from non-converted cars.

The auxiliary tank is 13 gallons.
Greasecar has sold thousands of these kits, +1000 have been installed on this year/make VW TDI car. The kit retails for 1295$. You can see a full kit description, parts/photos here.

I'm selling the car because after being transferred for work, I now live 10 mins from work- by bicycle. The vegetable system is like new, and this set-up is ideal for someone who can use it to take emissions and $$ off their commute!
