It snowed in October!!! Much to our surprise, the Sunday, October 18th Wakefield Light The Night Walk was characterized by dinnerplate-sized snowflakes, 30 degree temperatures and gusty winds. That didn't stop the more than 100 walkers, however, who braved the less than ideal conditions and walked around Lake Quannapowitt. With close to 1,000 pre-registered walkers and 110 teams, the Wakefield Light The Night Walk will raise close to $140,000 in 2009. Thank you Walkers.
