The holiday season is here...
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Eric's parents. I was fighting something so I did not get to enjoy dinner until the next day but boy, did Connor pack it away. For someone who acts like he doesnt like meat, he sure did eat a lot of it. He even had left overs for lunch the next day with Grandma and Grandpa.
Connor will be meeting Santa Clause on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Arcadia Breakfast with Santa. He went with his NaNa last year and cried as soon as he was plopped in Santa's lap. The picture has stayed up in our house all year. It's priceless. I was able to get the day off this year so my mom, Con, my sister and the girls and I will be going together. I cant wait to see the way he reacts to "tatah" this year.
Connor is making amazing progress, especially in his fine motor skills. His fine motor skills have always been MUCH better than his gross motor and they still are. Connor has been able to point at a picture in a book for some time but has never been able to point to an object far away. He will use his whole hand. Yesterday he started trying to actually point. What an amazing accomplishment. It is funny how we take the tiny things for granted.
Connor is crazy as ever and just an absolute joy to be around.
We are now calling him our budding artist as he has taken to always carrying a crayon in his little hand. He got a little carried away a few weeks back and drew on the wall. He must of known he did wrong because he started crying right away. I was at work but Eric got some great shots.
ENJOY the pictures.
I am adding a video or two as well.
Fall is upon us....
We are having a great time so far this fall. We have taken Connor to Disneyland, a pumpkin patch, a party at his gym and trick or treating. Connor even decorated his own pumpkin this year, which he chose himself.
Connor also got to spend an extra special day doing sumersault with his Grandpa Robb and his grandma Margie took him the the Arboretum for a day of fun with the birds. His Na Na also took him to the arboretum for Goblins in the Garden this year for Halloween and he had so much fun he skipped his nap time. Heck, I would too for a cool hay ride with his cousins, Auntie Mi Mi and Na Na.
I would say so far Connors Fall has been amazing and it isnt even Thanksgiving yet.
Enjoy the pictures...
Rounding out the summer
We had a great summer but I am happy to welcome fall. I love the holidays.
We did lots of fun things with Connor this summer and we are so glad he is now able to understand and enjoy things with us.
We went swimming several times, had bbq's with my dad and Helen, went to a local carnival, did lots of shopping (the pictures of Connor shopping are from a trip Connor and I took to the Dollar Tree. He went there with his own money, to pick out birthday presents for his daddy) and took a trip to the local fire station (we will probably make that an annual thing now).
Connor will also be going to the L.A County fair this week. We cant wait.
I posted tons of new pictures.
ENJOY!!
Happy 4th of July
Connor is doing great. He went with his NaNa this weekend to a 4th of July parade and BBQ and had a blast.
He had his first taste of In and Out recently and loved it. Sadly, the In and Out did not love him and gave him a nasty case of the runs. I think it was a bit too rich for him yet.
Con man recently had bilateral orchiopexy surgery to correct his undescended testicles. After a week of misery he was his old self again. You honestly would never know what this little boy goes through just by looking at him.
He now is "trotting" around everywhere. We believe running is going to come VERY SOON.
I am updating some photos and a video.
ENJOY!
It's been a long while...
I have been neglecting Connors web site and have decided to try to make an effort to update it more often.
Connor is growing and becoming more amazing every day. He is walking well and attempting to run (or walk very fast). He is learning to eat with a spoon (I posted a video) and can now play catch with daddy while sitting on the ground. He can catch a ball in his arms and release it. These are HUGE milestones for him.
He is in the process of being measured for leg braces. He will be wearing a set during the day which will go in his shoe and go slightly above his ankle (or at least this is what I imagine) and he will wear another set at night that go around his knees to help stretch his little muscles so he can finally straighten his legs and not always have them bent. The night brace will prevent him from moving so we are not looking forward to that considering he LOVES to sleep curled up in a ball.
He will be measured next week and I was told they should be done with in a week after the order is placed.
He is babbling more and more and creating more and more words. Most of his words are not understandable to anyone but him but at least he is trying.
This kid is truly amazing.
I will post pictures as well.
ENJOY!!!
Are you sure he is going to be TWO????
I cant believe it. In just 5 short days, Connor will be a big boy 2 year old.
He started walking on March 7, 2010 and I guess I was right with my prediction. I had predicted he would crawl by 18 months which he did (he was 16.5 months) and I also figured he would walk by 2. He is just so proud of himself as are we.
He is also doing very well in speech therapy. He is starting so say lots of sounds which I am sure will turn into words in no time. He is saying quite a few words now as well.
Connor is one happy little almost-two-year old.
We are having a family party for him this Sunday which will be lots of fun and then the family is off to Disneyland to celebrate for a few days. I think out little Disneyland birthday trip will easily become a yearly event.
I am posting a video of him walking and some pictures.
ENJOY!
Can you believe...
Connor will be TWO in just 5 weeks or so. YIKES.
Give me my baby back please.
Connor is much more independent now. He seems to understand a lot more and is finally taking several steps on his own.
We think walking should be coming very shortly.
We also now have him in speech and occupational therapy. This boy will be caught up in no time.
I am posting a few new pictures.
ENJOY!
I am going to attempt to upload a video as well.
Happy New Year...
I hope everyone had a wonderful 2009 and will have an even better 2010.
I am some what glad to see this year gone. It has been a hard, challenging but exciting year.
Christmas was great in our house. Connor had a blast. He is such an easy going kid. He does have his moments but I honestly cant complain.
We are not doing anything for New Years tonight. Eric will cook a roast and Connor will have therapy.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
I have not had a computer for almost three weeks. I am now back with a new computer and camera. Let the picture taking resume!!!
Enjoy the new pictures.
Halloween...
Halloween was so much fun this year. Connor had a BLAST trick or treating. In fact, he cried like it was the end of the world when we were finished. Eric and I were pooped. Connor lasted a whole hour trick or treating about three or four blocks. He had his first REAL taste of candy and freaked out. I let him have about three small bites of a candy bar and you would have thought I had scolded him the way he carried on when the candy was all gone. WOW.
My mom took him to the Arboretum during the day on Saturday to the Gobblins in the Garden. They had such fun together doing art projects and pounding on drums. Apparently he was the talk of the town in his costume from last year. His lion suit was a hit.
This year, he was a bearded pirate. I cant believe the amount of compliments we got on the dang beard Eric drew on him. I was against it because Connor clearly hated getting it put on him but all in all it was a huge hit.
Enjoy the pictures.
19 Months
We got the results of Con's kidney ultrasound and everything came back normal, thank goodness.
We also recently took Connor to a wedding in Palm Springs. It was hot but a lot of fun.
Enjoy the new pictures.
We will be posting more after Halloween.
Back to the grind of appointments.
Appointments that is. I thought for sure once we had a diagnosis for Connor things would be ok. I was right in the sense that we feel ok knowing what is going on but very wrong in the sense that I thought we could just move on and live like it never happened. NOPE.
Here is the line up of what is to come....
Connor just saw a hand surgeon.
He will be having a kidney and pelvic ultrasound next week.
I will be making an appointment to see a pediatric cardiologist for an echo cardiogram within the next week or two.
AND
I will also be making an appointment for Connor to see a pediatric urologist shortly.
Most of these appointments are all precautionary measures due to his deletion and translocation but some are because we know it is necessary.
The hand surgeon is something I have always know we need to see. Connor has dislocated thumbs on both hands (the left is much worse). He has always seen an orthopedic doctor but now that he is getting older-it is starting to hinder his abilities to do things. This problem is also caused by his missing genes. Connor will be needing surgery on his hand but they will not do it until he is near school age. The doctor will see him again at the age of 2 and we might be able to discuss braces for his hands at that point. Connor's hands are small so it makes it difficult. The braces would only fix one of the problems so surgery will be the best eventual route. The doctor is great and I really liked him. Connor did not fuss once which was really shocking.
The appointment I am most nervous about is his kidney ultrasound. I know kidney problems and heart problems are common but his heart has always sounded great. Connor is ALWAYS thirsty. It just makes me a little nervous that it could be his kidneys. I am also nervous that he might not sit still long enough for the ultra sound. Eric will be with me at that one.
The other appointments will wait until we get back from a weekend trip to see a friend marry.
17 months and such a big boy...
I thought I had made an entry stating Connor began crawling? I cant find it so I must have not. I am sure you saw the video-Connor began crawling about three weeks ago. He is so cute and determined when he crawls. He has a VERY serious look on his face and stares down at the ground. He is moving a bit quicker now and his therapist has told us NOT to give him the toys or things he wants. Instead, encourage him to go and crawl to them. It will improve his balance and get him to move around more.
I am so used to tending to him that it is rather hard for me to not cater to his every need but I know I need to help him move so Eric and I now find ourselves crawling on the floor with him to help him get more comfortable.
Now that he is mobile I am hoping to start taking him to parks and playgrounds more so he can get much more practice and maybe meet a few new friends.
I am also updating some pictures.
We will be taking Connor to the LA County Fair this year. It will be his first trip. We will be going for Eric's birthday. I will post pics after we get back.
ENJOY!
Connor is now 16 months
We finally got the word that somehow Connor must have been misdiagnosed when they told us he had Leukodystrophy. His brain looks normal. That was by far the best news we have received. We are now purely dealing with a chromosome issue. Eric and I also got our blood work back and they both came back normal. This chromosome issue started with Connor. We get to see the doctor on August 11 and well will find out exactly what will happen with Connor in the future as far as development and what now. So far everything we have come across with him has been treatable.
We also had our first real illness with Connor this past week. I gave everyone the Flu. It was awful. Poor Connor was so so sick. He would cry every time he had to be sick. I felt so bad for him. Eric and him got it at the exact same time. I was lucky to have been feeling better and was able to tend to them. Connor also got the child hood illness Roseola which is a harmless rash that most children get by the time the are 4. The only bad thing about it is that it causes a very high fever and then an ugly rash and a head ache. Connor was a trooper though. He had both the flu and Roseola at the same time and still managed to keep that wonderful smile on his face.
We are very close to crawling now. It is now just a matter of getting his legs to cooperate with the rest of his body.
I have posted more pictures.
ENJOY!
Quickly updating...
We are still waiting for the FINAL results to Connor's MRI he had last Thursday but, we do know that it was negative for Leukodystrophy. We had the best Friday last week as a little family. We felt such relief and joy knowing that Connor does not have that horrible condition. Eric said it best, "nothing they tell us now can be nearly as bad as that".
I phoned the hospital yesterday and they said they had just faxed the final results over to his pediatrician. Hopefully we will be hearing something very soon.
I am posting a new video of Connor sitting up on his own. He has now mastered that and will roll, sit, roll, sit to get somewhere. It is quite funny.
Eric will be lowering his crib today. We heard something funny on the monitor last night and when we went to peak on him, we found Connor sitting up in his crib on his knees pushing the buttons on the monitor. Down goes the crib. I am so glad he is making such progress.
Enjoy the photos and video.
I will update again as soon as we get the final results.
15 months old...
For my birthday this past week, we once again took Connor to Disneyland. This time he just loved it. Instead of crying on the ride, he would cry when we took him off. He is just pure joy and delight to be around. I cant believe sometimes how silly he is. Something about his draws people to him and he of course loves it. We took him to his first parade at Disneyland. He stayed up very late to see the Electrical Light Parade. He waved at all of the floats and even drew some attention. One of the little bug floats came right up to Connor and I have never seen such joy come from his face. The white rabbit from Alice In Wonderland even came up to him and shook his hand. It was a great day.
Connor had his 15 month check up at the pediatricians office this past week and he is now 31 inches tall and 23.6 pounds. A very long lean little man (although he doesnt look so lean with those thighs of his) =-).
He had one shot and didnt even cry. His doctor stated that he very well might need surgery on his skull to repair the fused bones but she said it is a very routine surgery and childrens sutures close early all the time. We will be meeting with the cranial facial doctors sometime in July and as Connor's doctor said, they will know best what he is going to need.
She also mentioned how well his motor skills were improving (he did a push up for her) and because he has trigger thumbs, she wasnt pressing the issue of scribbling with crayons just yet. I did mention to her how much he does love to finger paint. Connor is doing just great with his verbal skills and now knows 4 body parts. She was more than impressed.
He is just so smart.
Posting new pictures...
ENJOY
A lot on our plate...
Connor is in the midst of lots of testing to find out what might or might not be going on with him. Eric and I are in contact all the time with our
immediate family but, dont really think of calling our out of state family to let them know what is going on. I feel they have a right to know as well. Here is a link to my blog. It gives a brief description of what is possibly going on with Connor.
There are so many unanswered questions and Eric and I are determined to get through this and stay positive. I could not be more thankful for such a wonderful family.
=-)
Quick update...
Hope everyone is doing well. Connor is making great progress with his physical therapy. He is starting to pull up if he is not on the ground (see video) and he is much closer to finally rolling over. He is talking more and more. We hope to soon understand what he is actually saying. HA HA.
He has now become obsessed with the swimming pool. It is so bad now that we cant even walk by the pool with out him pointing and or shouting at it. He could be shivering with blue lips and he is still happy in the water.
I am also adding more pictures to a new album (spring/summer).
I will update the journal with more later.
ENJOY!!!
Physical Therapy
Connor is now in Physical Therapy for his gross motor skill delay. He seems to love Darren, his therapist. He always brings neat toys for Connor to explore and play with. Eric and I already see some improvements in Con. He is less resistant when it comes to being on his tummy and his joints are a lot less stiff. Darren said we should see a noticeable change in two or three months. This is great news for us. Maybe we will have a crawling boy for the summer?
Connor is now is swimming lessons every Sunday morning. It is a parent and me class. He just loves it. He cries when it is time to leave the water. The pool is nice and warm. Even I enjoy it.
We will be taking Connor in on Friday, May 15 for his genetic evaluation at Cedars Hospital. They will be examining him to make sure all of his delays and what not are not caused by some sort of disorder. Eric and I are very nervous but confident things will be just fine.
More pictures are posted.
ENJOY!
Connor is ONE!!!
We cant believe it. Time sure has flown. Connor had a wonderful birthday party on March 22 and went to Disneyland for his birthday on March 23. We spent a few days at Disneyland and just enjoyed being together as a family. Connor was much more aware of Disneyland than he was at 8 months in December. He was very expressive as to his likes and dislikes as far as rides are concerned. He loved the rocket ships but was so scared on the carousel.
He is finally starting his physical therapy and also has an infant teacher that comes and "plays" with him once a week. It is a relief to finally get these things going.
I will keep everyone updated on his progress.
I am adding a new picture file and will be updating that as well.
ONE MORE WEEK...
On Monday of next week, March 23, our little bean will be ONE! Please give me a few more months. =-)
Eric and I have honestly enjoyed this year more than any other year prior to this one. It has been a whirl wind and quite the experience. I can not imagine my life now without Connor. He amazes me each and every day.
I have been nothing but a ball of tears and emotion lately. Poor Eric has to see me cry every time I give Connor a bath, feed him his dinner and even just play with him on the floor.
Connor will most likely be our only baby and the fact that he is about to turn one sort of hurts my heart a little. I am so proud of him and am enjoying every moment of watching him grow up but, I would like to enjoy this phase of his life just a little longer.
We are still waiting on phone calls from his physical therapist. I am about to go and bug them on the phone because Eric and I really want to see him start making some progress.
He is making his own progress though. Just last night I set Connor down to stand him up and he took 3 very clear steps on his own (holding my hand of course but with out me forcing him) towards the coffee table. I cant believe it. I was so proud.
Well, by the next entry, we will be the proud parents of a big 1 year old boy. I will update everyone shortly after his birthday with pictures and his one year stats after we see his ped.
I am posting more pictures to his 11 month file.
We made Daddy a St. Patrick's Day painting this morning. Connor thought it would be nice to go ahead and give the paint a little taste this time.
ENJOY!
5 More Weeks
In just about 5 weeks, we will be the proud parents of a ONE year old. I can not begin to tell you how fast this year has gone. I feel like I have not taken enough photos or formed enough memories to remember this past year perfectly. We are amazed at how beautiful, handsome, friendly, smart and funny our little man is.
Before we know it, he will be going to school or wanting to do things all by himself. WOW.
He will be 11 months on Monday but, until then, I will be posting more photos in his TEN month file.
ENJOY!!
We are TEN months old...
So time is seriously flying now. Eric and I are now planning Connor's first birthday. I will be going later this week to book the restaurant for his party. I have even already ordered most of his party supplies. This is all very exciting and sad at the same time. He soon will no longer be my little baby. He will be my big boy.
I just recently got back from Connor's physical assessment with the therapist at the Alhambra Regional Center. She spent about an hour and a half with us asking me questions about Connor and watching him "play" with things she would give him. It was all fun and games to him. He did very well considering he was tired and hungry.
I am shocked on the things he should be doing but is not. Because we are first time parents, I have nothing to compare his skills to. She gave me some fun exercises and tips on how to improve his flexibility. Of all the levels she tested him on, he has to be 1/3 behind on at least on level in order to qualify for Physical Therapy services. She told me he will qualify but only on one level. We will find out for sure in two weeks but she seemed confident that he will be getting PT. It is a relief to know that I can learn some things to get this boy moving. She said that he will be all caught up by the time he is 3 years old and no one will even know he needed PT as a baby.
For his gross motor skills, Connor is at a 6 month level (the reason he will qualify), he is at a 9 month level for his cognitive skills and a 10 month level for speech. Very good I think. He loves to play games and is very good at imitating us. She was shocked by how well he uses his pincher fingers to pick things up.
All in all, things will work out. No matter what, this kid is very very loved and in the long run, that is all that matters to Eric and myself.
I am adding a ten month picture folder with some very recent photos.
ENJOY!!!
Connor's Nine Month Doctor's Visit
On Thursday, Jan. 8, I took Connor for his nine month Well Baby check up.
He is very healthy and according to his doctor, very long and lean (although he sure doesnt look lean to me). He weighs 20 lbs on the nose and is 29 inches long. He has gained three pounds and grown three inches since his six month visit. Not too shabby.
She told us we can start giving him certain table foods one at a time and start trying to introduce a sipper cup. We still have to shy away from peanuts, citrus, shell fish, egg whites and berries for quite awhile.
We got a few scares at his nine month visit but things do seem to be falling into place and getting better.
Connor is about 3 months or so behind on his gross motor skills (pulling up, crawling, rolling) so she has suggested some physical therapy to get his little body going. He was caught up with motor skills at six months but has just not made any progress since. His ped. seems very confident that he will be all caught up by 18 months.
She had also noticed that the bones in his skull were laying on top of each other and she wanted to make sure they were not fusing together too early. Babies have soft spots that close as they get older but, in some cases the sutures close too early and the bones fuse together resulting in a helmet or sometimes surgery. This truly scared Eric and I and I went that day to the hospital to get his X Rays done. He was a little trooper but I can tell he was very scared. The whole table shook as they took the X Ray and he had to be VERY STILL (not easy for a nine month old). I called the doctor the next day and she told us that the x rays looked ok. His bones are on top of each other but they are NOT fused together (thank goodness). She told us she will be keeping a very close eye on him to make sure that his bones do eventually pull apart allowing his skull and brain to grow normally. She is very confident that he wont even need a helmet. Such a weight has been lifted off of our shoulders. Now we just have to get his motor skills up to par and we will be chasing him around in no time.
I have added new pictures to the Christmas/Nine month folder.
9 Months Old...
Connor turned nine months old yesterday. I guess I will be starting party plans sometime after the New Year. I would like someone to invent a drink or powder to slow down time. I cant believe how quickly time is going now that we have Connor.
Eric and I are VERY excited to celebrate our first Christmas with Connor. We had all the intentions to not go overboard considering his birthday is just in three months, but, we could not help our selves. These will be great memories.
Connor will even be getting a stocking this year. Of course it is stocked with things for mommy and daddy as opposed to Connor. He will be getting a stuffed bear though. Other than that, his stocking is filled with bowls, spoons and other needed supplies. The gifts under our tree are just for him though.
Eric and I have both been working hard for the holiday. This is a busy time of year at Whole Foods. Eric, though, has been working extra hard. I have been working a normal eight hour shift due to the fact that we have Connor but poor Eric has been working 12 hours. I can tell it is getting to him knowing that he has not spent much time with Connor for the past few days. He is so happy knowing he has the next three days off.I will be posting pictures of Christmas and his nine month folder after the holiday.
I am posting some more pictures of his eighth month after I finish this journal.
Enjoy your holiday everyone.
Merry Christmas.
Connor Takes on Disneyland...
We took Connor on his first trip to Disneyland yesterday, Dec. 8. He did so well. Much better than Eric and I had expected him to do. He refused to nap and finally just crashed right before we were going on Casey Jr.'s Train Ride. He really loved the Jungle Boat Cruise (more interested in the boat itself then the surroundings). Connor seemed a little frightened of the Winnie the Pooh ride but other than that had a blast.
He we so facinated by meeting all of the characters and just loved his brand new Mickey Ears. We cant wait to take him again and basically raise him as a Disney child the way both Eric and myself were.
It was really a wonderful day.
I have posted pictures in his eight month folder and of course all of our Disneyland trip photos in their own folder.
Connor's first Thanksgiving
This past Thursday was Connor's first big holiday, Thanksgiving. We went to Eric's parents house this year and will be going to be with my family next year. Connor was quite fussy at first but after a good nap he was happy as a clam.
Eric and I were very excited to give Connor his very first taste of Thanksgiving food. I had prepared his mash potatoes and yams at home with no diary and Margie, Eric's mom, set aside a bit of gravy for Connor before she made it taste even better. We gave Connor all of the fixings I had prepared and then let him try a tiny bit of the white meat from the bird. I thought for sure he would spit it out considering he does not really like table food quite yet but, NO NO NO....he just loved it. He had a good amount of turkey and he did great. The only thing Connor did not seem to be a fan of was the cranberry sauce. I must say though, Margie out did herself and dinner was AMAZING!!!
It was a great day. Connor's grandpa, Robb, was able to spend some quality one on one time with him watching sports.
I am posting some pictures of Thanksgiving along with some over the last week.
Eight months now....
Connor will be 8 months old tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 23. I would like to know where the time has gone. Before I know it, Eric and I will be planning our little boys first birthday party.
Connor now has 8 teeth. He can stand up if we help him get there. He can even hold on with just one hand. I am sure he will be pulling himself up before we know it. He is becoming very verbal now and has recently said MAMA. We are now working and waiting for DADA.
It is so exciting to see him grow and change.
I have added pictures to his seven month folder and will be adding eight month pictures as soon as I take some.
Connor is now seven months....
We have had a big week. Connor just recently turned seven months and had his first halloween and his first trip to the zoo.
It is so amazing being able to experience these firsts with him. It is really important to us to make tons of memories so sometimes I go a little overboard on the pictures.
Connor was a champ on halloween. Even though he was very tired he never complained once. We took him around the block near my moms house. We also went and visited with his grandma and grandpa on his daddy's side. They really loved his costume.
My mom's house was our last stop during trick-or-treating and once again, his costume was a big hit.
We took him to the zoo the following day. I dont think he understood the fact that he was at the zoo but none the less, he enjoyed himself. He loved watching the monkeys shout back and forth at each other and even tried talking to a couple of animals. He was really amazed by the flamingos. I am sure it had to do with the fact that there were SO many.
Time is passing so quickly with Connor.
He is starting to push up on all fours just for a few seconds. No crawling yet, thank goodness. He is sitting like a champ now and is starting to bear weight on his legs.
I have posted some new pictures from the last week or so including our zoo trip and Halloween.
The Pumpkin Patch
On Sunday, Oct. 19 we took Connor to his first pumpkin patch. We were trying to look for a fun place we could take him too each year.
We went to the pumpkin patch at Cal Poly Pomona. It was great. They had food, games, animals to pet and ponies and horses to ride. Connor will love it next year.
They also had a great little farmers market and craft area.
The actual pumpkin patch was huge. Connor loved the colors.
We will be going back next year and many more years to come.
Big week for Connor
Connor just got over he first bad cold. He was not himself for over a week. He didnt smile, didnt have the normal sparkle to his eye and hardly ate. I had taken him into the doctor on Monday and she told me it could last up to two weeks. She was right. Yesterday he finally started to come around. He is still coughing and has a stuffy nose but nothing compared to the past week and a half.
Connor also just got his high chair and seems to really enjoy eating in it. He looks very tiny in it. Its funny. He seems to be very interested in trying to feed himself. We let him but its more for fun then actual nutrition. Most of it when he feeds himself ends up on his bib.
As some of you know, Connor has not really rolled over yet. He is a little lazy. haha. Eric and I have really been working with him to try and get him to roll. The doctor suggested we do tummy time as often as possible and show him how it should be done. Well, he finally has it down. Just yesterday, as he started to feel better, he started to roll. I am so relieved. He is a couple of months behind on rolling but he is ahead on other skills such as sitting, babbling and grabbing things from the tummy position so we are not that worried. Now we can work on getting him to roll from back to stomach.
Next comes crawling. YIKES.

Connors new facination...
GLASSES. Both Eric and myself wear glasses and Connor is notw realizing that they are able to come off of our faces and go into his mouth.
We have a pair of toy glasses that belong to a build-a-bear and we have put them on him. He looks so funny. He would much rather eat or play with our glasses then to wear the toy ones. I have posted some pictures of his fun with glasses.
Six Months Old
Connor just recently turned six months. We cant believe he is halfway to ONE!
Connor is beginning to sit up on his own, has six teeth and is eating solids twice a day now.
I have been making all his baby food so far and he seems to love it. His favorite foods so far are green beans and sweet potatoes.
We will be starting him on fruits in about two weeks.
We will be keeping everyone posted on his accomplishments.
