Game 1 vs Cy – Ridge High School~
Wolves Varsity 6, Cy Ridge 4~

Sophmore Blake Zieren went 5 innings picking up his first win of the season and Senior Garrett Shaw had 2 hits driving in 3 of the Wolves 4 runs.

Game 2 vs Klien Oak~
Wolves Varsity 9, Klien Oak 11~

The Wolves battled a top ranked team to the end in the loss to Klien Oak. Westsides 9 runs on 9 hits was not enough to beat the hard hitting Klien Oak team.

Game 3 vs Langham Creek High School~
Wolves Varsity 3, Lobos 7~

In the final game on Fridays double header the Wolves lost to the Lobos 7 – 3. Westsides bats never got rolling until late in the game and at that point the Lobos had already established a lead that the Wolves could not overcome.

Game 4 vs Cy – Falls High School~
Wolves Varsity 7, Cy Falls 2~

Westside finished the tournament action with a win over Cy – Falls Saturday. Senior Hunter Land dominated the Cy – Falls hitters throwing 7 innings striking out 5 and giving up no earned runs. Daniel Mengden added 3 RBI’s on his first triple of the year.

Westside finished the tournament action with a win over Cy–Falls Saturday. Senior Hunter Land dominated the Cy–Falls hitters throwing 7 innings striking out 5 and giving up no earned runs. Daniel Mengden added 3 RBI’s on his first triple of the year.

The Wolves will face the Milby Buffalos on Wednesday 3-4-9 at Butler Stadium and then travel to the Nederland tournament to finish up the week.
