Westside vs Westbury Game

Wolves Varsity 22, Rebels 2~

The Wolves faced off against the Westbury Rebels Thursday evening in a non district game. Westside proved too much for Westbury as the wolves put up 22 runs in 5 innings of play. Junior Joseph Marin hit a grand slam for his second homerun in as many games, Senior Garrett Shaw added 3 doubles, and Austin Jackson drove in 5 RBI’s on 4 hits for the Wolves. Sophomore Blake Zieren picked up the win on the mound striking out 5 and only giving up 2 runs.

Westside will face Lamar in district play on Tuesday night, a win against the Redsikns will give Westside at least a share of the District 20-5a title.
