Hadn't seen Daddy in over a week...

Chris didn't go to the beach with us.  He came down and met us in Orlando for a night, then he was off to Tampa for 3 1/2 days for a conference.  So the girls spent those days with Grandma and Grandpa, and then once Chris was back in Orlando, we started visiting the WDW parks.  This picture was taken the first night when Chris arrived in Orlando, and so they hadn't seen him in about 8 days.  Couldn't resist getting this shot.

Morgan gets a beaded braid.

The resort held a bbq one day, so we went for the free food...they had activities and this lady doing braids and face painting.  The braid was cute, and she was so proud of it, but wouldn't go swimming with it in so it got taken out the next day.  Can I say I am SOOOO glad I only paid for ONE braid?  It was teeny-tiny and it took much longer to un-braid the hair without tangling it than it did to put it in.

Melanie gets her face painted

Melanie chose to have her face painted instead of the hair braids.  She chose the biggest and most colorful design on the sample page...the Cheetah.  I TRIED to get her to do a princess or a fairy paint job... but she wasn't hearing of it.  No matter.  She was the prettiest cheetah you ever saw.  This woman was very talented.  This process took less than 5 minutes.  You'll notice she kept this make-up on overnight and through the following day.  She loved it.  When I finally removed it, she asked if she could get it done again as soon as we saw someone who painted kids' faces.

Building her lego car

Outside the Lego store in Downtown Disney, the kids can play with legos and build things.  One activity was a little racing ramp (see behind Melanie).  Each child could build their own car and then race theirs against other children's creations.  Morgan played on the little playground instead, but Melanie took her time and built herself a masterpiece.  Then she raced it, and I was so busy taking pictures of her that I didn't see if her car won or not!

Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom

One of two modes of transportation from the parking lot to the entrance to Magic Kingdom.  The other is the monorail system.  We found that to be lots quicker than the ferry.

Group Jumping
Yes, that is Morgan jumping right alongside all the other kids into the 6 ft end of the pool.  She has no trouble at all swimming right back to the wall and climbing out all by herself.  She amazed everyone by swimming so well this Summer!
