Congratulations Shawn Ochoa #035
Early this morning I got a call from Shawn O. #035 who completed the captivity series bible correspondence incentive course while incarcerated. Shawn told me a moving story about how he was released to a unknown place in Kansas. His release plan was denied at the last minute and with the help of the KDOC he was released to a unfamiliar county here in Kansas. After Shawn testified about what the ...course did for him in prison and how the volunteers helped him find a relationship with Jesus Christ. Shawn then told me that he was at Dillions and that he was going to fax his cetificate of completion to me in order to receive his well deserved $160.00 incentive and he ask me if he could call me from time to time because he knew no one in this town. I said yes and immediately God revealed to me that this ministry, God had created was for those like Shawn! Praise God! Please lift Shawn up in prayer to receive a job tommorrow from his first interview, In Jesus' Name!

Christmas Eve Service was a Holy Spirit Callout at WCF
Praise God! What a awesome time I had at Winfield Correctional Facility on Christmas Eve. I've never seen the Spirit of God work like this, I entered the facility and heard outside the door, "this is the largest callout we have seen in a long time"! Then I seen the line of men, lined up for this event! The Holy Spirit was already working and by the time I spoke over 110 men were ready to receive. When I was done over 20 men accepted Jesus Christ as there Savior and the tears of joy were present and the fruit was present and the healing was present, the anointing flowed mightily! What a incredible God we serve! "The greatest miracle God can do today is take an unholy man out of an unholy world, make that man holy, then put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it" Thank You Jesus

Message from Founder
Hi, I'm Spencer Lindsay, former inmate and now Founder and President of Working Men of Christ Ministry started June 24, 2011. The purpose of this ministry is to fill in the gap, as a former prisoner I know what it's like inside and the things you must contend with. I found Jesus Christ from a prison setting in 1992 and made Him Lord of my life. I was saved but my soul wasn't, I still had the same mind set, soul wounds and broken feelings. So I wondered why my life didn't change, then 17 years later the Holy Spirit enlightened me to the passage in Romans 12:2, "......but be transformed by the renewing of your mind". Well this was my 5th trip to prison, so I made a conscious decision to renew my mind to the Word of God. Everyday from that point on I started my day with the Word and as I did, the Holy Spirit began to teach me and my life has never been the same.
After a year, the Holy Spirit put "the Captivity Series" book by Katie Souza in my path. After 3 chapters I was caught up in the material of Katie's book. Everything in it either confirmed where I was or opened up a new revelation to where I was going. At the end of this book, God had given me my purpose and expected end. I had a plan from God, I found my calling and walked out of prison early by immediate release on a mission and Jesus Christ has been with me every step of the way through the Holy Spirit. I quote Leonard Ravenhill, "The greatest miracle God can do today is take an unholy man out of an unholy world, make that man holy, then put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it."
That sums up my life and what the Lord has done for me. Working Men of Christ Ministry is God's miracle today for the men and women incarcerated who need help finding there true calling and purpose, that will allow them to finish the race. God has blessed me with this idea and ministry as His tool to those who have been where I have. God Bless You
