Where the YOUTH tell the stories!

Welcome 2 Our World (W.O.W.) is a journalism website, giving the youth of Columbia, Mo. a chance to tell their story.

We will be raising a group of young journalists, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experiences as they tell their stories through print, audio, video, photography and everything else the internet allows. This brand of citizen journalism expands far beyond local media.

The youth involved will have the opportunity to write about the issues that are most important to them and tell the stories that they see around them, including (but not limited to) teen/youth issues, poverty and other national issues as seen through the eyes of young people, cultural reviews (fashion/modeling, music, movies, etc), fun places to go/things to do... The list goes on and on.

We are looking for students interested in being the 'talk of the town' with their stories. We are also looking for parents and other members of the community to help sponsor and support our website.
