About Young Audiences New York Residencies
Residency programming provides students with in-depth meaningful learning experiences through the arts. These programs are skills-based, integrate with the curriculum, address the Learning Standards and Blueprint's for Teaching and Learning in the Arts, and meet the specific needs of participating students.
All residencies begin with a planning meeting between the artist and participating teachers, facilitated by a Young Audiences Program Manager. These planning sessions allow for the development of shared learning outcomes for the residency. All residencies culminate with an exhibit or presentation that celebrates the work of the students.
