- 7/12 - Our annual picnic was held on July 12th 2009 at William Land Park. A record breaking 200 guests attended. This year, instead of serving traditional Chinese food at the picnic, we served roast beef and turkey sandwiches. There were 30 raffle prize drawings. One lucky winner won both first and second prizes valued at $450. As with every year, there was good food, games and fun in the sun! Thank you to all who participated in making the picnic a success.
Later, The Association hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to thank all those who worked at the picnic.
- 5/24 - Dragon Boat Festival was celebrated with about 20 tables at Rice Bowl Restaurant in Sacramento. There were 83 senior citizens over 75 years old who received a lucky money envelope.
- 3/8 - We celebrated the Chinese New Year of the Ox with a buffet luncheon at the Holiday Villa Restaurant.
2008
- 12/21 - A Children's Christmas Celebration was held for the children of Yee Association members. Each child, 12 years old and under, recieved Christmas Lucky Money from the association.
- 11/30 - The votes are in! We had our annual election of officers for 2009.
- 11/23 - Our Thanksgiving Celebration and banquet was held at Holiday Villa Restaurant. There were 23 tables of guests who had a great time eating and socializing.

- 7/13 - We held our Annual Picnic at William Land Park. There was food, raffle, prizes and fun in the sun for all who attended.
- 6/1 - Dragon Boat Festival: We paid homage to our ancestors, had a buffet lunch followed by a general meeting. Dinner was held at New Canton Restaurant in Sacramento. We had 17 tables and good food was had by all.
- 3/30 - We welcomed in the Year of the Rat and celebrate the Spring Festival on this day. A dim sum luncheon was held at the office. Our senior citizen members who are 75 and over received lucky red envelopes and had their pictures taken. In the evening, there was a dinner banquet at Rice Bowl Restaurant for all members, families and guests.
