The Story
At approximately 9:47 a.m. on Sat April 7th, Irvine Officers responded to a domestic violence incident occurring at 33 Tradition in the City of Irvine. Upon arrival at the home, officers entered and discovered a deceased female who appeared to be the victim of a stabbing.
Preliminary investigation at the location revealed that the victim’s estranged husband (Terry Snyder) had been seen fleeing from the residence immediately after the crime. A domestic violence restraining order was on file pertaining to Mr. Snyder. Mr. Snyder was seen driving a champagne colored Cadillac SRX.
Detectives developed information that the suspect was possibly en-route to the Inland Empire area. Detectives immediately relayed this information, along with Mr. Snyder’s vehicle description to the Riverside County Sheriffs’ Department. At approximately 2:15 p.m. a Deputy from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department located Mr. Snyder in his vehicle in the parking lot of a convenience store at Riverside and Lakeshore drive in the City of Lake Elsinore. Mr. Snyder was taken into custody without incident.
The victim is:
Yolanda Snyder, age 41
The suspect is:
Terry Raymond Snyder, age 45
Resident of the City of Tustin
Mr. Snyder is in custody for investigation of Murder. He will subsequently be booked at Orange County Jail.
