Kaohsiung City invites Dr. Diana Tai from the Iowa State University and person in charge of the education internship, Ann Pierce, to the event T.K.Travel – Study Tour and Taiwan, USA,& Canada International Exchange.

Dr. Diana Tai and Ann Pierce represents Iowa State University and pays visit to Hsin-Hui Cheng, General Director of Kaohsiung City Bureau of Education, and state their high expectation of collaboration with the Kaohsiung City Bureau of Education. Dr. Tai and Pierce also invite Director Cheng to visit the United States of America.

Both parties initiate discussions for collaboration method on line.
2014/06/14 – 2014/06/25
Director Cheng of the Kaohsiung City Bureau of Education leads a team of five representatives including Principal Qing-Cai Wong to visit the United States of America.
2014/06/16
Both Parties sign an official Education Internship Collaboration Agreement.
2015/03 – 2015/05
First Cohort 4 intern-teachers from the program arrive in Kaohsiung City.
2015/10 – 2015/12
Second Cohort 3 intern-teachers from the program arrive in Kaohsiung City.
2016/01
After the intern-teacher program's huge success, Kaohsiung City Bureau of Education expands this project and looks for future partnerships with other universities/intern teachers.
